The best I’ve tried in PDC - Edit
The titles says it all. From the moment we arrived we received the best service. I didn’t catch our server’s name but they were extremely friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and fun. The place is situated in a beautiful garden (with cover from the sun). I actually came here wanting the croissant, it wasn’t available today but everything I had here was 10/10 delicious. El Paisa is soooo yummy!!!! And the chocolate cake 😍 best I’ve had in Mexico!!!! Also the coffee is from a separate business attached to corazon contento, also fully vegan, and one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while! I seriously recommend you come here for breakfast or lunch. I hope to be back.

Nos gusto mucho la comida, yo ordene una torta con chilaquiles y estaba deliciosa. El patio donde están las mesas es muy agradable. La chica que nos atendió fue súper amable. Sin duda volveremos en nuestra próxima visita a playa del carmen.

Favourite place in PDC! - Edit
We ate here 3 times during our stay as the food is just that good! Everything is super flavourful and a delight to eat. It’s so good to have such an extensive menu where all of the food is amazing.

A warmer and friendlier welcome you will not find in PDC. The staff (Vanessa) were so lovely, helpful and kind. I couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. I visited twice here whilst staying in an apartment around the corner. I took away the waffles for breakfast and the next day returned to eat in. The space is at the back of the building in the garden area, look for the side gate entrance. This is the place to go to try vegan Mexican food in PDC.

I really like their mango milk shake with soya milk, as well as thier chilaquiles rellenos with green salsa, las gordibuenas, and ofcourse their cupcakes, what I love about them is that they are not too sweet like your typical cupcake, they are filled with cactus jelly🥰 . I was not a fan of the guerra nor crossaint with jam & cheese both had no flavor to me.

I ordered the Tacos al Pastor and they came in wheat tortillas and with a strange texture. They pineapples were cooked with the soy meat. The taco sauce tasted like the sweet-sour sauce that one gets in Chinese restaurants. Disappointing. :(

A lot of people recommended this place to us but I really wasn't that impressed. We ordered the 'breakfast table' which had waffles, fruit, toast with avocado, beans and a tiny portion of scrambled tofu, it wasn't bad but just nothing special imo. When ordering the waiter told us that wouldn't be enough food for the two of us so we also got the ham & cheese croissant which was really good, should have just got one of these each to be honest. The coffee was delicious but I didn't really like the vibe of this place, and the service was really slow.

Getting to this space is not tricky, but you have to be looking for the sign! once settled in the back, this small patio is welcoming and calm. I was with a group of three people and we got drinks from Ressios, two croissants, and a breakfast plate. It was amazing. My only regret is not coming more hungry. We carved out another day to try more dishes on our vacation to PDC. The second time we tried to order more croissants but they were low on inventory. We tried two more dishes that were just as good! Can't go wrong with this place.

This was a wonderful retreat from the chaos of PDC. It’s a small spot tucked in the back of a building so you can walk by it if you’re not paying attention. The atmosphere, people, and food were fantastic. The menu is diverse and ranges from fresh fruit to a sandwich loaded with meat alternatives. I got the La Mamadolores Canek torta and it was awesome. If you’re into mock meats and vegan cheese. I got a ham and cheese croissant to go for my flight. If I come back to PDC this will be the place that I eat. Perfecto!

I came about an hour before closing and they were out of a lot of things. What I did order, though, was delicious. I ordered the La güera vegana and 3 v-steak tacos. The tacos were delicious and I especially enjoyed the Al pastor la güera. I also ordered fresh coconut juice which is always accepted on a warm day
