Decent fine dining option

On their website they post a vegetarian menu but they will accommodate a vegan menu if you let your server know when you arrive. Unfortunately there’s no way to know what the menu will be. Most of the dishes were vegan but we had a couple substitutions. My partner was very disappointed that they could not make the puff pastry vegan, but they gave us a chanterelle dish instead. The amuse bouche and mushroom barely soup were my favorites. My partner *loved* the dessert. He ate mine as well. The carrot corn dog really did taste like a corn dog, which is not a food I ever enjoyed, but it was worth trying. Their take on tofu saag was not very flavorful, but overall I enjoyed the meal.

At one point they brought us bread with dairy butter. They realized their mistake and brought us oil, but it was a bit gross having the butter on the plate.

Pros: Will accommodate vegan, Creative dishes

Cons: They need to wake up to vegan butter, No vegan puff pastry

I do like the people at Cook Weaver a lot, and they're definitely unusually accommodating...but accommodation isn't really the same as consideration, and you really feel that when you pay their prices.

Agree. I don’t feel like the vegan experience was worth what they charge.
