Offers buffet styled food (until 4.30pm) and several local dishes including ceviche, choripapas, caldo de mote, ocopa, causa, papa a la huancaina, tacu tacu, and a large variety of rice and fettuccini dishes. Soy milk is available for drinks and desserts include waffles, cakes like 3 leches, brownies and ice cream. Open Tue-Sat 12:00pm-9:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-5:00pm. Closed Sun.

Read moreOn the weekend, there is a buffet but I was only there during the week. The food is very affordable (most expensive thing was 18 soles in July 2024) and the portions are big!
Highly recommended!

Read moreThe traditional meals here are to Liiive for. 🤩 everything was incredible and the potions are enough to feed a family at incredibly economical prices. This restaurant is not here to profit, and it shows. Vastly generous and kind, lovely music and casual ambiance with a friendly dog inside. Do yourself and the world a favor and come try everything! Meal breakdown below:
Ceviche 🌱🐟: amazing! A little spicy (ask no chili if needed), slightly sour and bright, I loved this dish. 10/10
Menestrón 🍲 : heavenly. Flavor, consistency, all the pieces within- yes yes yes. 10/10
Fettuccini a la huancaína con anticuchos 🍝🍄: The sauce and pasta are gorgeous and so delicious. The mushrooms had some spice/chili and I couldn’t eat it, so I pass on that, but they smelled good. 8/10
**Note: The Ocopa has peanuts 🥜 . Check for allergens.
*We came back for the lunch and the lunch buffet is quite good. It’s 12soles to pass one time and 17soles to repeat as many times as you want, including the drink, soup, salads, and entrees. Very good price. 👌

Wow, what a find. My dining experience here was absolutely outstanding. We ordered the small ceviche plate, the Menstrón soup and fetuccini a la huancaína con antichucos. Every single meal was a delight. Flavors of the ceviche so well-balanced; the soup just warmed my heart, my mind and my body, the green sauce made my eyes roll back haha; and I didn’t even get to taste the grilled mushrooms yet at that point - the marinade ahh 🤌🏼. The creamy and rich sauce of the fetuccini next to it, ugh. I’m running out of words to describe this whole thing. Beware, the main dish was quite heavy and the portions of the starters and mains huuuuge (although that seems to be a general thing in Peru). I find it amazing that this restaurant offers almost all the traditional Peruvian foods as veganized versions for such cheap prices.

Good vegan food buffet - Edit
As of May 2023 it costs 12 soles to go to the buffet and make your own appetizer plate and make your own Main plate. A salad was not an option for the appetizer plate this time but I put an assortment of the items that were available. For the main plate I got the the "aji de no gallina" with rice and potato on the main plate. I thought the food was good. However, there were no vegetables in the entire meal such as broccoli carrots celery etc. The meal choices were heavy on carbs and mock meat that provided protein. In a vegan restaurant, I would expect there to be more variety of vegetables. They have a microwave oven to heat up your food as the steam table doesn't appear to be heated. The vegetarian restaurants in Peru all seem to serve the same dishes. I wish they were more inventive like the restaurants that I went to in Colombia. Nevertheless the food is good here and if you happen to be in this area it's a good choice. It's not far from the Metropolitan Museum of Lima and the other museums nearby. Easily reached by public transit.

Buffet setup which I don’t usually go for but the price was awesome for what was offered, genuinely tasty nosh that made me happy. Definitely one to try out and a great place for those on a budget😄
