Casual restaurant opened 2018 in Sheung Wan. Serves a mix of Asian and western cuisines. Offers breakfast foods like scrambles and congee, and lunch foods like burgers, fries, falafel, and wraps. There are also specials, drinks, and desserts like vegan cheesecake and chocolate ganache. Uses impossible burger product in a few of the dishes. Reported closed March 2021.

It's sad it will be closed on Sunday - Edit
A friend told me about Confusion weeks ago, today I just visited there and feel sad that wonderful kitchen will be closed soon. But at least I have had an amazing meal here. God bless you the team wherever you will be in Hong Kong or Holland. :)

Award winning vegan favourite - Edit
Delicious menu, with changing menu, average around 100 for lunch, no service charge with finger licking good international vegan food.
Read moreIndian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mexican, burgers and more. You won't get bored easily here. That's why you can come 5 days a week and still be happy with the food!
Been coming since they have been opened over 2 years ago, food prices are slowly increasing, soup items price are also increasing along with dessert (in set lunch) quality and taste decreasing as well. It is a business I would like to keep on supporting. Boss can seems a bit rude to her staff at times, but in general staff are ultra friendly, down to earth and helpful.
Would recommend any of their hedgehog dishes, soup and tofu steak. Tacos would be second and their Indian dishes third. Would avoid Chinese and Vietnamese dishes as they are not as tasty or as flavorsome compared to the original meat version. Also avoid the cheesecake, it taste like plastic. Set lunch dessert is a tiny 2 inch square cake. Don't expect much.
They currently provide free sparkling water, unsure if this will be sustained forever but a nice touch.
As of my last visit, end of Ausgust 2020, for covid 19 social distancing measures, there is limited seating, currently open open to 4 tables only. Beware.
Pros: Variety international cuisine, Purely vegan, Delicious
Cons: Limited seating, Minimum cost HKD100

Noisy lunch place for a quick meal - Edit
Environment: Noisy, small, casual
Read moreFood: Good options of Asian and western vegan dishes, such as pho. Most of their food are with five spices but the restaurant is happy to accommodate the requests to remove them in cooking. My friends and I have been there a few times and think the desserts are too sweet and portions are tiny. I don't really eat desserts but do have to agree with them. Entree options are fine.
Service: Self-service
Price: High ($128 for a set lunch, considering it's self service in a small restaurant that asks customers to share tables with strangers without a screen, especially during covid-19. Those who shared our table were a bit loud and seemed to be regulars talking enthusiastically without a mask. We quickly finished our meals and left. This was in May when there were government orders in place. My friends didn't want to go back at all, unfortunately, for different reasons.)
Pros: A small, organized menu makes orders quick
Cons: Sharing tables without screens during covid-19

Vegan delight in Sheung Wan - Edit
This was a small, vegan restaurant tucked-away in Sheung Wan. They were open for dine-in it takeout on May 9th, but there wasn’t a ton of seating inside. However, there were lots of people in-and-out and waiting for seats while I was there. The food was delicious with special mention to the pumpkin and ginger soup! I’ll be back again soon to try something else on their menu.

A must-go in Sheung Wan - Edit
I was looking for curio on Cat Street and decided to stop by this place I had never been for lunch. Ordered "The Burger", beyond burger with yam and tofu fries, it was downright excellent. The service is great, which doesn't hurt, and the choice of dishes marked on the blackboards will make your head turn (and your stomach grumble). Definitely a must-go for everyone in the area!

Moved to the area last week and was recommended Confusion by at least 5 friends who aren’t vegan/vegetarian. Decided to try it and was not disappointed, I’ve been back again since! Food is delicious and well priced, atmosphere is great too. Staff are super friendly and happy to help. Will be coming back here regularly.

One of my favourites in Hong Kong - Edit
This is one of my favourite vegan restaurants in Hong Kong, and one that I regularly bring non-vegetarian and non-vegan friends too - it's just good food! I love the creative kitchen staff and have found excellent vegan versions of dishes here that are hard to find in Hong Kong: pho, ramen, laksa.
Read moreThe team are constantly trying new things and there are weekly (I think) specials that are available for a short time only. My favourites on the regular menu are everything involving hedgehog mushrooms (e.g. karage, tacos), and the cheesecake is also excellent (albeit not large enough for my liking :p )
Pros: Delicious, varied menu that changes regularly, Friendly service, Creative specials
Cons: I can't afford to eat here all day every day

Delicious all vegan restaurant - Edit
After basically starving on a 2 week tour of China and eating the exact same veggies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner we were excited to get to Hong Kong. Soon as we got to the hotel a group of 6 of us rushed to the subway to get to Confusion and it did not disappoint! Great customer service, fair pricing, amazing food, deserts 😍.

Good food but a bit pricey - Edit
I went here for lunch and got the Japanese omnipork curry. It was good but a little pricy in my opinion ($110 HKD). The restaurant is a little small, so I imagine it can get cramped during peak hours. Overall, I wasn't mad at it, but there are better places in HK.

Small little restaurant, but loads of delicious choices - really hard to pick one! I had the sourdough caramelized onion and cheddar mushroom sandwich with tofu fries with the soup of the day. I was so full! Total came to 100 HKD, but there are cheaper and more expensive options. Portions are filling!
