Best tempeh ever - Edit
I am heart broken to learn that confluence is now only serving a limited menu. The kombucha is creative and tasty but the tempeh dish is the best meal I’ve ever had in St. Louis. The owner is passionate about food and his love is apparent in the food.

We were so impressed with this place. So many vegan options, friendly staff, and incredible provisions. Try the mushrooms — they are out of this world! We got some homemade (gf) nut and seed bread to bring home and coconut yogurt that is better than anything I’ve ever tried.

It’s a beautiful place, very friendly staff. The kombucha is delicious. Some vegan options but the only one I recognized was the tacos. They were great and very unique.

Best kombucha in town!! - Edit
I went here after having some of their amazing food and drink at Vegfest. The food is all made by one guy who is super into his craft. I got the temph with black tahini and it was amazing!! The kombucha is super bubbly just how I like it! Only downsides are the time it takes and the space available so I recommend going on Sunday when it opens for lunch.

Our first time here and my husband's first taste of kombucha. We started with the 8 flight tester. We even bought some to bring home. Kat was very informative of the benefits of kombucha and very helpful with food suggestions. We had the celery pancakes and the chickpea tofu. We also wanted to try the tempeh since they make it themselves. The chef made us a side dish and it was all very delicious. The sauces are the best. A great experience!

Oh my goodness! I had never tried kombucha before, and this place was amazing! The kombucha flights are such a smart idea, and the food was amazing. I had a raw cacao truffle for dessert that was the cherry on top of a perfect lunch! Service was phenomenal and the patio is a perfect place to sit on a nice day.

This place is a true gem! I really enjoyed the food and the kombucha was to die for. I drink a ton of homebrew and this was way way better than anything my friends and I have ever made. I had the celery pancakes and was really surprised when the chef came out of the kitchen with some celery stalks and started shaving them right there behind the counter. The food was SO good and I've never had anything like it before. The booch was flavorful, effervescent, and robust. I'm sure I'll be dreaming about those samples I had! Highly recommend!

I have been drinking Confluence Kombucha for some time now (available in grocery stores across STL), and finally got to try their restaurant. I was so impressed! The space is quite small, but the food is fantastic. I had the tempeh with honey tahini sauce, fermented kale, and pickled beets. It was so good and the presentation was lovely. The menu consists largely of fermented foods, and is all vegetarian and largely vegan. The staff was very friendly, offering samples of kombucha and even a taste of nukazuke fermented asparagus, which was quite good. I will have to try the sampler of nukazuke the next time I visit. In addition to the food, they had 6 types of kombucha or other fermented tea on tap, offering tasting flights and growlers in addition to "by the glass." The food is a bit pricey, but it is worth it.
