Cool food hall - Edit
A cool hall with a seating area in the middle and different types of food stalls around it. We had the veggie poutine, which was a lot tastier than it looked. 😋

Common Just About Covers It - Edit
Rightly or wrongly, I had high expectations of for this venue and made it a point of my visit to the city to ensure that I managed to get here. The reality was that it’s nothing special. Yes, it’s a fairly nice space in which to hang out and grab a pint, but in terms of the food vendors, I thought the options were average and overpriced. I did sample one dish from Oui Poutine (the veggie special) which while ok, didn’t warrant the price tag. Especially given the fact that it was missing the vegan cheese due to lack of stock, something the server only told after having paid for and being handed the dish.

Common Market - Edit
Hip food market. Basically all of the stalls offered a vegan option. But this is not a place you’ll find healthy options, or even sufficient vegan protein. 😉

Good place to rest, options for everyone - Edit
Found this place when it was getting a bit late and vegan options in the city were wearing thinner. Almost every stall has a vegan option, but they seem popular and some were sold out. Some stalls were already closed too. Decided on poutine, and while it looked like the guy at the stand was going through something (my partner was almost regretting ordering there as not to bother him), the food was amazing! Oui Poutine veggie variant highly recommend :)

Great venue for variety of food - Edit
We went to Common Market on a Sunday night near closing. Multiple of the food stalls had already closed or run out of certain foods. Despite that, the ones that were still open were super friendly and helpful.
Read moreFrom Al Pastor:
I had the vegan elote. They were out of vegan cheese but the staff ensured it was still good without it. It was worth it! The corn was so tender and charred perfectly. The mix of sweet and spicy had a great balance.
From Hey Chick:
I had the Korean junk fries. O, wow! Huge portion and they did not skimp on the toppings. I love that they layered the toppings throughout the fries so that there was an even amount rather than loads on top and dry fries on the bottom. However, the waffle fries them selves were delicious. They were seasoned and fried crispy, just the way I like them. The two girls working were also super helpful and nice.
I would definitely suggest both of these options. However there were even more vegan options at stalls that had already closed. If you are vegan you are sure to find something to your liking!
Pros: Variety of vegan food options , Fun atmosphere, Great for groups
Cons: Food stalls are small operations so they sell out, Could be hard to find seating on a busy night, Small car park

Great venue - Edit
Lovely spacious venue. Several vendors, each with a vegan option. I had the vegan tacos. Very tasty but not much food for £8:50. Korean jackfruit fries £5 were tasty but a very overpowering sauce. Baps vegan option was chickpeas and a hash brown £10. Margarita £8.50, bottle of beer £5:50. Live music. Felt covid safe. Great idea.

Cons: Expensive, All junk food/fried options, Entry fee

Warehouse conversion - Edit
The old Arnotts fruit depo has been converted into an event style space compromising rows of picnic table style seats, bar seats and around the edges stalls from smaller Belfast eateries such as (currently) oui poutine, a Mexican burger stall and others (around 4 stalls) with a larger bar that is currently doing table service (staff come to you). Large and airy, get yourself chips and a Guiness as it's vegan. Quite nice and somewhat hidden, one fella walked up to me as I stood outside and asked me what was in there. He explained he worked close by and was only now noticing it.
