Excellent food – NOTE: CASH ONLY - Edit
The restaurant is small and quite well appointed, even though it's near a decidedly sketchy part of Berlin (kind of like Thai Idea back in my home of San Francisco). I arrived here to see a sign right on the door saying cash only. Hrm. Well I looked up ATMs and didn't find any near enough, but then headed to another restaurant and came upon an ATM on the way (Sparkasse), so I got some slips of paper and headed back.
Read moreThe menu is a bit overwhelming, with all names in Vietnamese and descriptions of lots of very similar-looking choices in German and english. I started with a sweet & sour tamarind soup (#1 on the menu). It was piping hot, sweet, spicy, sour, and very fragrant, with thinly sliced lemongrass and other aromatics. I might have liked more vegetables than some zucchini and mushrooms but the flavors of the broth were outstanding.
Next up were steamed dumplings (#23). These were your basic potsticker-style dumplings, served with a tasty tasty dipping sauce. Five per order. I almost wished I had just ordered a bunch of the tapas dishes, but instead....
I got a main dish, the red curry (#43). It was, oddly, served on a plate rather than in a bowl, with a scoop of rice and a basic iceberg lettuce salad swimming in the curry sauce. I shrugged and treated the sauce as salad dressing too.😜I forgot to ask for it to be extra spicy, and—very unusually—it actually was quite spicy, giving me a light sweat, which I usually have to repeat "very spicy" multiple times for, and even then have to ask for extra chili oil/powder. Not so with this curry! Two thumbs up.
I finished with the baked mango in sticky rice with coconut cream and peanut (#61). The mango was not served fresh alongside the rice, but wrapped up inside it and baked so it was warm and soft. I'd never seen this before, and it was quite good! I am used to fresh mango, which can be hit or miss if it isn't fully ripe. I guess baking sidesteps that particular problem.
Service was prompt and polite. I asked for no seitan and no cilantro (cilantro is the devil) and there wasn't a speck of either in anything. I don't know if they balanced out the seitan with more tofu/vegetables or gave me smaller portions, but I left pretty full in any case.

Read moreWe stopped in here for a quick lunch. Ordered a coconut milk based tofu and noodle soup and a light noodle dish with tofu and veg. I'm a sucker for coconut milk based noodle soups and this one did not disappoint! The tofu noodle dish was delightfully simple and also very delicious. Can't wait to try Comcha Vegan again sometime!

Wir hatten die 11 (sommerrollen), 20 (mangosalat), 29 (tempura) und die 37 (gebratene nudeln). War alles ganz gut/ok. Beim Tofu waren wir uns nicht sicher, ob der noch genießbar war. Wir hätten 3,5 gegeben, aber es gibt pluspunkte für einen rein veganen Laden.

I might have ordered a dish that wasn't my jam but I thought this place was just ok. The tofu sot chua cay (44) I had was way too salty and didn't have a lot of veggies which might just be the dish or me but it was very intense to eat. The dessert was good however. The staff was ok, the food was ok, the interior nice. All in all, I think it's an ok option but given the wide variety of vietnamese places in Berlin I'd say there's better ones out there.

Arrived here pretty soaked after a rain. Got one of them rice noodle soups I believe it was Pho Chua and got a Sweet Winter tea with it.

Good food, friendly and fast service, nice place. The menu has lots of choices. I'll have to come back and try more. I really liked the rice noodles and grilled tofu that I ordered. The homemade lemonade was also nice.
Read moreEDIT: I've been here several times over the past years. For my most recent visit, I wasn't very hungry, but the Canh Chua soup really hit the spot! Very flavorful broth, with a scrumptious mix of veggies and tofu with a texture that made eating it a pleasure. I really recommend this place.

The food itself was really good with really well made sauces (mine with peanut sauce, the other one with sweet and savory). Only downside was that the seitan was supposed to be spicy or even hot but it was neither of them. Mango Lassi was smooth and a good treat.

We went out on Saturday evening expecting every place in Kreuzberg to be overcrowded and that we would need to wait for a long time. Not only did we find a place right away, it was also super delicious.

It's a nice place but the dish i picked was a bit lacking - basically noodles with tofu and seitan in plum sauce and other than that a bit of fresh salad on the side. I wish there was at least some cooked veggies in there. The atmosphere was nice though and the dish my friend choosed was also really nice although pricy.

The food was delicious, I love Vietnamese food. I actually went for a Thai curry and it was so good. We didn't exactly communicate 100% clearly with our server which was probably more our issue as our German isn't good and he spoke very fast.

Read moreThere were so many good options so we decided to order around 8 tapas and share. Everything was really tasty. It’s nice to have the option to order tapa style so you can have a bit of everything. It’s also nice when your with friends so you can enjoy everything together.
The prices were very reasonable as well. I believe it was just over €100 and that included the tapas, a desert and several drinks each.
The restaurant was nicely decorated, quaint, and the service was good.
