Worth a visit - Edit
We enjoyed this place near the lake! We had the Tu Bi rice which was very unusual and tasty, the gentleman working there had excellent English and it was very cheap! 30k.

Delicious, humble and satisfying. - Edit
Delicious variety in the Com Chay - rice, pickles, steamed and stir fried vegetables, tofu in tomato and a spring roll. All delicious for 30,000 VND.
Read moreThe Bun Bo Huê was a little lack lustre, but still ok.
A quaint small space. Busy for lunch.
Fast customer turnover, and food service.
Outstanding spring rolls with dipping sauce.

Hidden Gem - Edit
This is the place you should check out for your Phở Chay (vegan pho) needs.
Read moreAstonishingly low prices, and food so good, you'll likely order extra, and be (positively) stuffed the whole day!
We went there twice the same day, as we couldn't leave Hanoi without trying out (almost) the whole menu.
The FRESH juices were a big relief during the hot weather.
The food may take some time, as it is prepared freshly for you – rest your legs, order an extra drink, and enjoy the great food!
Pros: Phở you won't stop thinking about, Fresh Phở rolls, do not miss out!, Getting chili-paste without having to ask for it

Not great food… - Edit
Me and a friend visited here seeing all the reviews harping on about the place. Upon arrival, no one was there apart from the chef and the kitchen and place looked pretty unclean. Unbothered by that, as once again trusting reviews we made our order. I got the Bun Rieu, which was not very nice and my friend got the Pho which tasted solely of coriander. We were both very disappointed. I hate to post reviews like this because I truly would never want to slander an all-vegan institution but this really wasn’t nice; the only upside being the low price.

Opening times are weird - Edit
I came here and waited an hour before the staff turned up, while on Google they would be open.. The food was very cheap and fastly prepared, but it wasn’t the best I had. The food could be more tasteful.

not nice - Edit
with all these great references, I went to this restaurant thinking I would get some cheap nice food. I ordered "tú bi" steamed rice and unfortunately the vegetables were tasteless, and the different kinds of tofu were bland. moreover, all the food was cold, with exeption of the rice that was slightly warm. it was 9pm so maybe if you go earlier you can get something better. food is cheap tho. a dish cost 25-30k vnd.

Less than expected - Edit
I had a Pho - sadly it was only okay. It was quite bland and I had much better (flavorful) ones at other places. My friend ordered the the bún riêu which was much better, but again, not the best I ate so far. We shared fresh spring rolls (good) and the vegan sausage, which was really good at the first bite but later it tasted strange to me until I realized it tasted like egg, though it was declared as vegan. Unfortunately I forgot to ask her to confirm my supposition so I’m not a 100% sure.

Best food I’ve had in Hanoi - Edit
The food here is what I imagine the most authentic vegan version of the smaller non vegan places on the street to be. Amazing fresh food at such a cheap price, the food is so good I always forget to take pictures cause I’ve already eaten it!

So delicious and so cheap - Edit
We both had the bun rieu and it was delicious! The tomato broth was so refreshing and a nice change from pho. I think there were three different kinds of tofu in the bowl which we enjoyed a lot. It's quite easy to get to from Chua Tran Quoc pagoda and it was very cheap as it's a bit further from the old quarter. The bun rieu was only 25,000 dong, so less than £1.

Cheap and tasty - Edit
The food was great value for the price. I enjoyed the pho. Came for a rice porridge with mushrooms for breakfast, and really enjoyed the first few mouthfuls, but about halfway through the bowl I found it difficult to keep eating even though I wasn't full, as the texture was too unvaried and slightly gluggy

Best Pho of my life - Edit
This place is a hidden gem! It has the best Pho
Read moreI have tried Pho in Vietnam, all over Europe and Canada but this place is the best! Honestly you have got to try this flavourful soup for only 25.000 I asked for no noodles (low carb) and more veggies. Unfortunately I literally had two small pieces of meat (vegan meat) inside. I asked for more and got it right away. They wanted to charge me a lot extra for that. Pho could have been more hot
Flavour great. More vegan meat appreciated
Vegan spring rolls were great amount. A bit oily but not as bad as in other places. 30.000 for springrolls
Dipping sauce for spring rolls is incredible.
Very good English speaking.
It looks on the picture of the menu like there comes extra vegan meat with it but it’s just the soup
Delicious and cheap spot
Pros: Fully vegan, Best pho of my life
Cons: Not enough plant based meat

The noodle soups were delicious and the sausage was amazing. I stayed in the homestay upstairs, and it was a great location, not as chaotic as the old quarter
