Best place to stay in Portugal! - Edit
We went to Colina Flora for the third time and it felt like coming home. Aasta and James are truly wonderful hosts and the rooms are well equipped and very comfy. The fresh organic (!) vegan and vegetarian breakfast is a real delight, I couldn't wait to wake up and go there. The location is truly superb, you're very close to the most amazing natural environments with dramatic cliffs, beaches and jungle like forests. At the same time Colina Flora is just a stone throw away from the buzzing cities Lisbon and Cascais which offer a feast of vegan options. We can't wait to go back!

Best ‘B&B’ you could wish for - Edit
We were looking for a holiday which allowed us to eat in line with our vegan and organic principals and in an area where we could walk a lot and be in nature. We stayed in ‘rose’ which is an incredible suite in a separate building with private outside area. The rooms are stocked with water and snacks which are replenished daily as part of the room. It is an Eco B&B so they are environmentally conscious and this was important to us too. The breakfast is the best breakfast we have ever had- fresh fruit, most of it homemade, muffins, energy balls, biscuits, fresh organic bread and vegan margarine, humour, tofu, fresh orange juice, hazelnut milk.... there is a beautiful kitchen building with an honesty bar for preparing your own meals. Lovely pool and grounds. James and Aasta work tirelessly to make sure guests have everything they need and attention to detail is really high. James will give you all of the information needed for fantastic walks. Convento dos Capuchos was our favourite site- truly magical energy.

Hosted by two really nice persons, James & Aasta & Lucca, their friendly dog :-) You reaaly feel welcome when you arrive, the room was so beautiful, and the view perfectly fantastic.
You can use in this peacefull guesthouse a kitchen at any time, also the pool. Gardens are so romantic and beautiful.
The vegetarian & vegan breakfast was a blast.
We'll come back and stay longer at Colina Flora, because it worth it! I definitely recommend this place in Sintra for all calm, romantic & nature lovers, perfect guesthouse for vegans.

A perfect place and location - Edit
We hugely enjoyed our week at Colina Flora.
The vegan breakfasts from Aasta are simply wonderful with fresh fruits, fresh baked goods and endless goodies with a wide selection for vegans and vegetarians.
Our room - or rather a small cottage - was perfect and the self-catering facility was a luxury kitchen with great views.
We walked, ran and swam and were guided by advice, maps and books from James.
The local area is endlessly fascinating and beautiful.

Veggie Hotspot! - Edit
Colina Flora bed and breakfast is the most amazing place for a wonderful holiday. The location is one of the first things that stand out, then the lovely hosts and house. Aasta and James offer a very special and relaxing getaway.
Read moreThis is so much more than the average B&B, its a tourist information service too! Huge breakfasts to start the day, with lots of great cafe's, local produce and coastal villages to explore nearby. This is the one of the most vegan friendly places in the world, and its set in spectacular countryside!
We really enjoyed the many long and rambling walks that were aided by James' expert knowledge and homemade maps that guided us. They offer dinner's too and Aasta's food is great. Overall I haven't enough words to describe what a great experience Colina Flora offers!

Exquisite home-cooked meals & breathtaking views - Edit
The B&B is located in the heart of a natural preserve and is walking distance to some of the most beautiful and romantic beaches of Portugal. The owners will meet any and all requests. This is a place where you will never be bored, stressed or hungry. The food, prepared by the owner, is better that any 5 star restaurant - and healthier! The rooms are magnificent, clean, comfortable and give you the full 'Portuguese' experience with most of the amenities you would find in a traditional busy 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost. I would recommend this establishment to anyone traveling to the area for business, leisure, anniversary or quick getaway - you will not be disappointed!
