Good food but experience could be better… - Edit
So the first thing we smelled when we walked in was chemical cleaning products (they had just opened) and that’s a little off putting for me. Server wasn’t overly friendly and divided our bill incorrectly (we wanted it divided equally on our 4 cards and she thought there was five…I dunno…it was weird).
Read moreThe place used to fill up at lunch before COVID, and while there was still a good crowd, there were still some empty tables around noon when we were there on a Tuesday. Pre-COVID the line would be forming before the place even opened…
On to the good, there were plenty of vegan options clearly marked on the menu and the server was knowledgeable about the vegan items. I would say the food was good, but not outstanding. However my friends thought it was really good. Oddly enough Drunken Noodle on J st is apparently a sister restaurant but I think their food and service are better.

Delicious Tofu - Edit
Tofu can be added instead of meat. I had the sweet and sour tofu with white rice and it was delicious. The plate was huge and the food was affordable.

Good - Edit
I ordered from this spot through doordash. I also specify to make my noodles/ rice vegan. They've never put egg or meat in any of my dishes. Their pad thai is amazing. It had a little sweet taste to it. The rice is good too savoury but not too salty. There's definitely flavor there. The noodle dishes and rice dishes come with plenty of vegetables. They also give you a lot of food or at least when you ordered delivery.

Chicken in my vegan food - Edit
I have never written a review before but fealt it necessary. I found a piece of chicken in my food. I ordered sweet & sour vegetables with brown rice and organic tofu spring roll. Be careful if you order from this place.

Great food and service - Edit
This restaurant is very vegan and gluten-free friendly. We come at least a couple of times per month for lunch and have plenty to take home for a couple more meals. I usually order the avocado curry. Other favorites are the eggplant and cashew dishes. The service has always been great and quick enough for lunch.
