25 years ago when I knew nothing about healthy eating I came here. They made it easy and fun for me to transition to a SAD diet to a diet full of nutrition and vitality. I am forever grateful.
The Indonesian vegan food is really good. I also had one of the burgers which was good but the patty is quite soft which I didn’t love but it’s a matter of preference. I had a strawberry cheesecake that was also delicious!
This market has everything! Fresh mushrooms, tropical fruits, cactus, vegan meals, ice cream and more! Such a great way to spend Saturday morning! We are stocked up on fresh produce and ready to cook some new vegan dishes!
I love it here i go every weekend. It’s so nice to have places that are local with all vegan vendors. I do wish that more of the produce was LOCAL from the farm, but the prices are low for produce and I do love supporting local people !
I love it!!!!
This has become our go to lunch spot on Saturdays. So many different vendors. So many delicious vegan options. Tables set up so that you can enjoy your meal. Free parking. Great experience every single time 😊❤🌻
If you are around, come and check it out. It’s pretty cool. I highly recommend to try the GLASER Farms’ ice cream, it’s superb. Also the same farm sells some raw fruit cakes. Delicious too.
Holy moley, almost all of this market is vegan (no meat) and it is absolutely amazing. So many options, lots of the food is home cooked by small local vendors and it is amazing. follow @crazyveganfood for veg food in south Florida!😄)
Had high expectations for this market, we are in Miami after all, where unique veggies and fruits grow. The main and biggest food tent had 80% imported items. I asked what was local and only avocado 🥑 were available. Prices are not clearly indicated and ended at the cash point with a surprise. I m ready to pay to promote local, not imports. 10$/lb for prepared salad. They also sell plastic bottled coconut water.. ridiculous when there’s plenty of fresh coconut available literally everywhere in Miami..
Other food / craft stands are truly boring. Nothing that makes this market special. Prices tend to be on the really high side. Expect 7$ minimum for a 300ml juice bottle.
I liked the raw dessert stand « in your face delights », the owner of the stand is welcoming and he cleverly used mango / soursop / lime / cacao available in FL to create raw desserts. Very simple, correctly priced.
Worth a visit but only once is enough and if you are in the area.
Suggestion to the organizers : have a stand of fresh coconut water - not plastic bottled.., more local produce and lower price. It s more expensive than Whole Foods, what a shame
A hot food vendor charged me 20 for one plate of hot food in a styrofoam box and 9 for a lemonade. I asked to have the lemonade put back. That was a rip so sorry. It ruined my experience for the whole farmers market. Maybe the rest was good? Who knows? Selection of items seemed good.
This is my favorite farmers market. It is on Saturdays in coconut grove. Get there early to find a parking spot because it gets busy. The produce and fruit selection is great; everything is very fresh and mostly organic. It can get a little pricey depending on what you are buying. The premade products and packages spices/dried fruits, and juices/smoothies made by Glaser Farms are all delicious and high quality. Also try the vegan ice cream.
The Glacier Farms sells tons of their fresh produce and anything else you want like nuts, spices, teas, bottled smoothies/nut milks. Also several other companies with booths there, especially Counter Culture kombucha which is the best!
We love to come here for lunch. Vegan options are so big, fresh and tasty.
As tourist its is nice to walk around. See al the fresh products. Buy some to eat. But also buy herbs and non food items to bring home. Very good atmosphere!
This market was totally unexpected. It's all raw and vegan--and HUGE! There are so many prepared raw dishes to take home. The produce is beautiful, but very pricey. The ice cream was the biggest treat. We tried 4-5 flavors on one trip and each was better than the last! Definitely worth the trip.
Finally got over to this market and it surpassed my expectations. Delicious prepared raw food, juices, and even vegan ice cream! Lunch, fresh produce, and even some stands selling clothes, organic products, etc.
The only problem is it's REALLY pricey but you would have no idea. I got a salad and a juice and it was $15! Plus $36 for a hand basket of produce. Oops! I'll have to be more careful next time.
