Read moreAußerdem wurde wunderbar auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Unser Sohn (zwei Jahre) wollte unbedingt Pizza. Wir gingen davon aus, dass eine Quesadilla mit Sicherheit als Pizza akzeptiert werden würde. Dem war natürlich nicht so.
Also hat uns der Koch angeboten (von selbst) dem kleinen eine improvisierte Pizza zu machen. Wirklich unfassbar netter Service.

Unglaublich was in diesem Restaurant geboten wird. Von außen und auch von innen unscheinbar. Ansprechend, ja. Aber nichts deutet darauf hin was einen hier kulinarisch erwartet.

Die Speisen sind eine Offenbarung!
Selten habe ich etwas so leckeres gegessen.
Das Essen hier ist nicht vergleichbar mit dem mexikanischen Essen was man normal kennt. Hier wird auf sehr sehr hohem Niveau gekocht.
Wer in der Gegend um Bournmouth ist und hier nicht gegessen hat soll sich schämen.

Read moreNever been here before and, actually, it's hard to find a decent Latin-American food restaurant. Was impressed with the amount of choices even before going there. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly and presented with the menu. We also received complimentary grilled olives, which was a nice touch - never tried them before!
The food came reasonably quickly, we were impressed with the size of the portions and thought we ordered a bit too much at first. Tajadas, Yuca Frita and Senor Champinon were brought out at the same time as the burritos. The food was at a good temperature, "sizzling" dishes were actually sizzling as advertised. A bit too much oil for our taste, but expected in Latin-American cuisine.
We ordered Super Protein Power and Pure Scarlett - combined with the food, these were not as refreshing as we hoped for. Pure Scarlett was a tad overpowering with ginger, Protein Power didn't have enough peanut butter and wasn't sweet enough to our taste. Glad there was complimentary tap water.
The visit left a very positive feeling overall, definitely will visit again and highly recommend for a good lunch/dinner!
Pros: Good tasting food, Generous portions for the price
Cons: Smoothies and juices could be little more refined, To use a toilet you have to take the shoes off

Read moreI ordered the jack black burrito and my wife ordered Taco loco. We also both ordered smoothies, 1 cacao and banana and 1 turmeric tropical.
The food flavour was average, they both tasted the same. The tacos were buried under the sauce meaning they just became soggy and mushy. Would have preferred to have the tacos seperate to the filling rather than being buried underneath.
The burrito was a good size, but just was lacking a bit in flavour. Neither of us particularly enjoyed the meal.
The turmeric tropical smoothie wa lovely and fresh . The chocolate and cacao one not so much. It was room temperature and wasn't particularly nice.
Overall, probably wouldn't return.

Welcoming atmosphere, lovely ambience with very friendly staff. 4 delicious tapas dishes, full of flavour, colour, and beautifully presented. So good we ordered a 5th dish despite feeling comfortably full.

The best vegan restaurant in BCP - Edit
It was our first time so we didn’t have any expectations except the positive reviews online. Well, all three of us were very surprised and delighted with the experience. We had the Nachos, Arepas, Empanadas, Tajadas, and Salsa Papa Wedges. All were delicious and very unusual. Excellent service too. Very affordable.

All plant based. Lovely tapas. Nice plates. Friendly staff. Lovely sauces and dips. I thought this would be Mexican type food and I'm not usually a fan but Latin American is different. The tapas were flavoursome without being too spicy hot. We tried the banana fritter dessert which wasn't as nice as the mains but we'll definitely go back. I hope other people do too.

Run don't walk if you want something other than the regular burger/falafel/curry for your takeaway! Found this place after a search ahead of a couple of nights in the area, and we loved it. Lara who runs front of house is so lovely and friendly, the ambiance is eclectic, relaxed and creative, the menu is creative and offers things that you don't often see veganised and the flavours are incredible. Highlights were the cassava fries (no pics, we ate them too fast!) and the fried cheese sticks with the most perfectly balanced coriander aioli - heaven, and we are annoyingly fussy foodies!! It was so quiet, understood it was a Monday but please, foodies of Bournemouth, support this gem to keep the variety of vegan eats available in the area! Will absolutely return, well done Chef! 👌🏻

Going Local Down In Cocoloco - Edit
From the moment we arrived we were looked after wonderfully. The waitress was happy and helpful. The menu left us spoilt for choice and we joked about ordering one of everything. All four of us really enjoyed our meal and the drinks were amazing. I would definitely recommend eating here, I was the only vegan in our group, along with two vegetarians and a carnivore. All of us remarked that we would definitely be going back. If you want incredible food, lovely service and excellent value, this is the place to go.

We were in the area and looking for a vegan place for lunch. We saw reviews for Cocoloco and headed straight there. The menu looked great so we ordered a variety of dishes: a burrito, several small plates plus a couple of chocolate and banana smoothies. Everything was delicious - all fresh and flavoursome. So glad we went there, so sad that we don't live nearer.

We only ended up here as most other places we fancied weren’t open on Mondays. Very glad though as this was very relaxed place with super, tasty food. Great portion sizes too and everything tasted so fresh. We had two main dishes (one burrito & one tortilla) and a side between two of us and that was plenty. Very good value for money and friendly staff too.
