The vegan chicken fingers are great. They come with a super creamy maple dill sauce which is the best part. The vegan option for the sweet potato jalepeno perogies is amazing! They serve kombucha on tap which is really cool. I haven’t had a dessert I liked there yet. I’ve tried a cupcake, a cookie, and a muffin on separate occasions. They were kind of disappointing to be honest.

Amazing Gluten-Free Restaurant with Many Vegan/Vegetarian Options! - Edit
Cocoabeans is an amazing restaurant and one of my favourites in Winnipeg. The menu is entirely gluten-free and features many vegan and vegetarian options which is fantastic for those of us with dietary limits.

I absolutely LOVE their menu. I have tried the Sweet Potato Burger, Taco Salad, Quinoa Salad, Chickpea Salad, Yam Fries and their Kombucha on-tap. Everything has tasted incredible, fresh and flavourful. They also serve cafe drinks and have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and other meals. They sell some of their salad dressings, quinoa chili, homemade hummus, and other items in their refrigerated/frozen area. They also sell delicious baking and treats like homemade peanut butter cups, date bars, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and more. All of their baking that I have tried is so good! Many of their baking is vegan as well.
The service has been hit and miss during my multiple visits. I have experienced staff who haven't had a very friendly or positive demeanour, while other times the staff have been polite, professional and positive. I hope this can improve for the future!
I always love enjoying a meal at Cocoabeans and will continue to eat here often.

I’ve enjoyed the food everytime I’ve been! I like how they have vegan versions of most of the things on the menu. It’s always tasty. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for one place to go in Winnipeg.

Service was mediocre but food was good. Kind of expensive but that tends to be the case with quality vegan gluten-free food. Vegan red velvet cake was a nice treat!

Thanks to this bakery I had a nice red velvet vegan cake for my 21st birthday. I thought it was good, a little bit too moist but i cant complain. I got cookies from here and they were a decent treat, but a little pricey... A nice stop for corydon

Awesome Vegan GF Cakes - Edit
This is a great place to get a cake for any special occasion. I have served it to many non-veg/non-celiac folks and everyone loves it! I also purchased my wedding cake from here. They have some very talented cake decorators on staff. The apple cinnamon muffin and peanut butter oat bar are my favourites.

Vegan treats on offer - Edit
Cocoabeans offers a daily selection of vegan baked goods amongst their non-vegan offerings; everything they do is gluten-free. They usually have vegan blueberry muffins (quite tasty with a yummy crumb topping) and some absolutely outstanding vegan brownies - not to be missed! Their custom vegan cakes are beautiful and delicious. A standout is chocolate layer cake with peanut-butter chocolate icing, which pleased my picky non-veg extended family and had them requesting it for the next birthday! Vanilla with raspberry compote is also amazing. In a city not known for its vegan scene, Cocoabeans is a nice surprise - check it out!
