Okay, a bit expensive - Edit
Was looking forward to this cafe as we planned to go here on our NC500 trip. However, it left us disappointed. Both the hot chocolate and croissant were nice but nothing special considering the price and the hype.

Had the dairy free hot chocolate with oat milk (they sell the dairy free hot choc so I checked that first as there are mixed reviews here on the hot choc being vegan). Croissant was very tasty - I recommend. The hot chocolate was a bit darl and bitter for me but others may enjoy. There were also vegan chocolates available

Lovely croissant. - Edit
Their chocolate croissant served hot is divine. Their vegan hot chocolate was ok, but wasn’t melted properly when served. This was a lovely stop after a cold day out on the beach.

The server assured me the HC was vegan when made with the oat milk so we had to try it as we have HC every where we go and so feel quite able to judge if this is the best. No it isn’t. It had quite a strange taste to it.

Vegan Croissant and Hot Chocolate - Edit
I had a vegan dark chocolate croissant which was marked as such. My non vegan boyfriend ordered a hot chocolate and i asked about vegan milks and ordered an oat milk latte. I was made aware that they do in fact have a vegan hot chocolate option so went for that.

Really special fancy chocolates, and lovely to have six flavours to choose from! We did the hot chocolate / mocha ‘chaser’ with four chocolates, which was lovely. Soya and oat milk available. Staff great at detailing dairy free options.

I was so excited to try but after asking and reading the ingredients on the hot chocolate mix it contains milk powder which was disappointing. They did have some vegan chocolate and a croissant 🥐

This place is in hippie craft village Balnakeil and is very popular. They have 5 different kind of vegan chocolates and offer oat and soy milk for the chocolate milk. Also has vegan organic chocolate in the shop. Everything was very tasty, but I’d recommend sharing the chocolate milk cause this stuff is very heavy. Very friendly staff.

They have a vegan hot chocolate which can be served with oat or soy milk. Was very tasty and exactly the right thing after a very rainy day :). Also bought some vegan chocolate and pralines.

Had a bracing walk on the nearby beach and entered Cocoa Mountain looking forward to a hot drink. No alternatives to dairy milk on offer. Didn't bother asking if there was anything suitable for vegans to eat
