The cocktail menu is mostly vegan including chocolate cocktails. Staff are knowledgeable and happy to advise. Also offers savoury food too but with limited vegan choices. Open Mon-Sat 10:30-18:00, Sun 11:00-17:00.

Bitter Sweet - Edit
I was toying with the idea of going here for the vegan afternoon tea, but genuinely forgot about the place, so I was somewhat surprised to see it when I rounded a random corner. Given this good fortune, I thought it would rude to not at least go in and sample a few items at the very least. On the plus side, the caramel brownie and the dark hot chocolate I had were fabulous. On the even more plus side, they had a dog in residence! As for the negatives, the service wasn’t exactly welcoming, I felt as though I was somehow intruding and I wasn’t made to feel very welcome (by the server, that is, the dog made me feel right at home!).
Read moreEveryone is entitled to an off day, so I wouldn’t say I would be put off from going back, especially for the aforementioned afternoon tea.

Delicious vegan hot chocolate - Edit
Had a delicious vegan hot chocolate with biscoff here. I didn’t notice they had a lot of vegan options, also food / cake wise so hence only three stars. The hot chocolate itself deserves more stars though!
Read moreThe hot chocolate was 5 pounds (they also do milkshakes for the same amount) so it’s a little bit cheaper than at Knoops. Less options than at Knoops but honestly very tasty. Would recommend.

Did I go on a bad day? - Edit
I think I went on a bad day. The server was quite rude with my friends, messed up the order a couple of times. I could tell she was stressed and she then gave us a free cake to apologise which was really sweet but then... when we got out and were too far away to go back, we realised she’d only given me a black coffee and my friend’s had cow’s milk in. Puke, poor cow.

Great range of vegan cakes, and at affordable prices too. Funky decor and a nice atmosphere, but could definitely fit more tables in.

Great sweets but lacking food - Edit
There’s not much here in the way of food. I wouldn’t bother going for lunch. But for chocolates, cakes and hot chocolate it’s great. In the evening it’s nice to have somewhere for a drink that isn’t packed and feels more relaxed.

My New Favourite Place - Edit
I love this place more and more every time I go. The cakes are rich and moist, the hot chocolates are decadent and have exciting flavours, the cocktails are really special and well thought through - they clearly know what they're doing. Plenty of vegan options and really friendly knowledgable staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere. The resident sausage dog Frank is really chilled out too so it's always nice when he's in. I really can't recommend this place enough.
