Great place! - Edit
We had lunch here today, and very much enjoyed it. They have several vegan/gluten free options, and a beautiful garden to sit in. We brought our small dog, and the counter person came out to pour our dog water before he even took our order. They had a whole section of vegan pastries, many of which were gluten free.

this place was super cute with lots of seating. there were mostly all vegan options with even vegan bakery goods. it was frustrating how it took 25 minutes to get a smoothie and açaí bowl though…. but it was super refreshing and hit the spot

I’ve been here a handful of times. I’ve gotten smoothies, a vegan breakfast burrito, and several bakery items. If the vegan caramel cheesecake is there, GET IT!! I’m still thinking about it!

Charming - Edit
Charming and rare vegan friendly restaurant in the area. Nice size menu with decent prices. Had a breakfast burrito which was okay. Black bean burger wrap is delicious and we ordered a hummus wrap which was also very good. Fresh coffee and smoothies and lots of outdoor sitting. Desserts!!Worthy of a drive from Miami!

You may need to remember you're actually in Key Largo and not in Bali - Edit
This place is fantastic.
Read moreCocoPlum's energy is palpable even from the parking lot. The subtropical grounds are immaculately kept, and the entire restaurant/shoppe is surrounded by truly charming, artistic little spaces to sit, eat, and chat —suitable for any mood one may find oneself in. There are gorgeous, elaborate statues throughout the place that bring so much to the atmosphere.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. So far I've been to this place more than a handful of times, and it took some time to figure out who the owner was, mainly because the employees are so happy to be there that they come across with an owner's sort of confidence. Anyone I've seen preparing the food (there is no hidden kitchen; you can actually see them make your food) has had a smile on their face, which is quite a contrast to many places with stressed out cooks/chefs whose faces you never see. I strongly believe it matters!
The building itself houses the food counter plus a very neat boutique, full of nicely curated gifts that greatly differ from the ordinary "made in elsewhere" spots. One can tell whomever curates the space is really mindful of its content, judging by the broad range of items, wholesome messages, and price range. It's also a full blown boutique —no shortage of stuff, though neatly organized.
So, the food! I leave this for last because the eating experience is certainly affected by all the other variables. Sitting in such a beautiful place, knowing my food was prepared by someone who actually wants to be there, has a smile on her face, and cares for my wellbeing is half of the exchange. I'm vegan, gluten and sugar free, and I can order from the menu with ease. For those items that are not naturally gluten free they have replacements available (they won't be surprised by a request.) The menu is on the healthy side but delicious and full of choices —nothing I've eaten has felt heavy or tiring, and I've had a good portion of the menu by now. I love their breakfast items (especially the burrito and a fully loaded avocado toast), smoothie bowls, and juices. The salads are also amazing. They also have desserts in two large cases, one of which is totally vegan, gluten, and sugar free.
Whomever put this place together is an incredibly creative being that has poured heart and soul into it. If you're in town, treat yourself to this experience! (And if you're vegan and staying in Key Largo, it may just be a saving grace if you don't feel like cooking that day.)

We eat here several times every time we are in town. It’s so nice to have a healthy vegan option, and delicious! The vegan breakfast burrito and “chicken” salad wrap are my favorites.

Coco Plum Place
Read moreA charming vegan restaurant/shop in Key Largo, Florida.
Food****
The breakfast burrito was astonishingly good! The combo turmeric and tofu was scrumptious! The jackfruit BBQ wrap was not as good as the breakfast burrito but it’s like comparing apples to oranges. It’s a different taste but was still yummy!
Service***
Quickly and friendly counter service and they bring the food right to your table!
Atmosphere***
Cute and cozy but the location was less than desirable.
Price$$
Somewhat pricey but worth it.
Pros: Cute and cozy, Lots of options

Almost completely vegan - Edit
They need to have their description updated because they do not serve any meat products. Some of their homemade baked goods have eggs or butter but they are kept in a separate area. Everything else is vegan and just wonderful. We stayed here in town for the month of August and we are regulars here. The staff is friendly and family owned and they truly care. It’s a little pricey, but in this case for sure, you get what you pay for. The inside of the store is a gift shop with pillows and T-shirts and gift items. Good coffee, all kinds of wraps and salads. A solid place for a Vegan to eat

Not vegetarian - Edit
The staff is very pleasant, however this is not an all vegetarian establishment. They serve turkey. Also beware that some of the items listed as vegan are not. The staff is very knowledgeable, so just confirm.

Love this place!! - Edit
Went with my husband last week for the first time after a few different people recommending it. So many wonderful vegan and vegetarian options to choose from and a great atmosphere and energy to this lovely place! We both ordered sandwiches (actually chose to have them in a wrap) and we shared 1/2 and 1/2 and we both loved both the black bean burger and the veggie burger! Generous portions that are delicious!
