Incredible - almost all vegan - Edit
Possibly the best vegetarian buffet I’ve ever been to - and I’ve been to quite a number! It’s located inside a hotel, so it might be a bit harder to find. Just follow the signs and then take the elevator to the seventh floor. Staff will seat you immediately and you’re good to go: all you can eat buffet awaits you. Classic Vietnamese dishes are made vegetarian and vegan: banh xeo was a highlight. There is one table with starters such as fresh and flavorful salads, fried starters, other dishes such as sushi, and more. Then there’s the section with warm dishes, ranging from curries to stir fries and more - there’s even a soup station to make yourself a fresh and boiling soup. Variety seems endless. The price also includes classic Vietnamese desserts and fruit, as well as water, coffee and tea. Divine! Staff is quick to clean your plates when finished, and they’re super friendly and helpful - one guy showed me how to make the soup, while another introduced me to the dessert section or helped me to mix a nice sauce for my starters. Incredible experience

Nice but could be nicer for picky vegans - Edit
All you can eat for 200k, so around 8€, tea and juice inclusive. Unfortunately no labels for vegan food and no western options.
Read morePros: Good Food, Very affordable but fancier than streetfood

Calm oasis in Saigon - Edit
- NO MORE BUFFET -
Read moreThis place is part of a restaurant and the right spot for everyone into a calm, finer dining experience. We've had the menu with Tasty pho, spring rolls and dessert, which they swapped out for a vegan one, so they understand veganism. The music was very calming and you have a great view over the city.
Pros: Staff understands veganism
Cons: Pricy because it's more of a fine dining spot

You went to the other Co Noi, which is at 7th floor of Bong Sen Hotel (this one is 8th floor of Bong Sen Annex Hotel). It is still serving buffet, I just went there last week.

Pretty nice - Edit
I had the Cỏ Nội special and I haven't been as full as this for a long time. Food was pretty good but the highlight for me was the excellent tamarind soda - highly recommended!
Read moreSince it's on the seventh floor you can get a nice view on some places.
Most of the dishes are vegan, though since of the deserts are not. The cream on top of the rice pancakes (bánh khọt) is made with coconut milk.

No longer a buffet - Edit
This place isn’t a buffet anymore. I ordered set menu A, which had a nice papaya salad to start and a tasty matcha pudding dessert. The main, however, was listed as something like “wok fried noodles and veg” and that’s what came. It was noodles and veg and nothing else- it tasted like it was just tossed in soy sauce. Nothing else to give it any flavour. Just a really boring, disappointing main. Also, I sent it back and the waitress tried to tell me, “there’s no meat in the dish for flavour”. At a vegetarian restaurant. Pretty lame.

Cons: Expensive, Charge for water, Boring main.

Worth a visit - Edit
Great location. Average customer service. Good value. Lots of variety. Seemed all vegan (?). Great for those with gluten intolerance. Lunch (199k) is cheaper than dinner (249k). Food was tasty but not outstanding. I would visit again but only after exploring some other options first.

great quality! - Edit
🍲 They have various dishes ranging from salads, porridge, curry, sushi, traditional buns (bánh ít trần, bánh củ cải, bánh bèo etc.), to curry, vietnamese noodle dishes (bún bò huế), xôi, different sauces, steamed veggies, corn, and MANY MORE! All of the dishes are well-spiced and each has a fairly different flavor, not like lots of restaurants where many dishes basically taste the same.
Read more🏠 The location is perfect, very near the center of Saigon, and the inside atmosohere is clean, bright. I like that there are lights streaming in from the window and green trees outside. Although, the space is not as beautifully decorated as Hum or other classy vegetarian restaurants.
👨🍳 The manager and servers are okay, 7/10. They are adorable and attentive enough but not too professional.
✨ I wish it has more healthier options that are cooked with whole grains and less oil. Vegan dishes are not clearly stated, so it's a bit tricky as noodle and saucy dishes might have butter.

Big variety of dishes - Edit
This all you can eat buffet seems pricy at the beginning, but the variety of food and deserts is more than satisfying. You'll definitely find some dishes that you'll enjoy. The downside is that you might end up stuffing yourself.

Cold, tasteless and ignored - Edit
Arrived at 8:30. Rest closes at 10. We seated at a table with not even a smile of recognition from wait staff. Left sitting there to just ‘start’, at least, that’s what we presumed. No drinks offered, no menus, complete lack of interest albeit that we tried to get their Attention. Food dismal. Cold and for the most part, tasteless. Waste of money.

All-veg buffet - Edit
If you're vegan or vegetarian and love a buffet, or want to try a bit of everything, you have to come here. Dozens of dishes, all well presented (hotel standard) with brief descriptions. There are more condiments than I could count so you can add flavours to your personal preference. I sampled 8 plates full of food and still didn't try everything. This place is simply amazing.

The 365 day a year vegan buffet - Edit
If you love Vietnamese cuisine, and want to try a big variety of vegan version of it.. come here. The price goes up ... that saddens me..
Read moreI organized 2 gathering there and the manager was so helpful to put the label of non-vegan tag next to the food (because 1 or 2 foreign dishes are still cooked with cream/butter, like curry, pasta sauce... but when it comes to Vietnamese dishes, rest assured my friends :)

Tidy restaurant on the 8th floor. The buffet now costs 168,000 - almost double what I'm used to paying. Some of the food was great - like the lemongrass and chili gluten - but a lot was very strange (to me).

Co Noi, Ho Chi Minh City - Edit
I tried this place this evening. Its a buffet set up with a big choice. I was charged 149 000 dong (pay in advance). Since its each as much as you like you can get really value for your dong if you're the type who really likes to fill up.
Read moreThere's a ton of choice. Salad, sushi, soups, stuff from hot trays... the list goes (take a look at the pics). One pic I forgot to take was maybe the best thing there - this dish of okra, aubergine and tofu in a coconut cream sauce.
According to the waiter who spoke not too bad English (as per the waitress, the both spoke infinitely better English than my bumbling half a dozen words of Viet), the only thing made with egg or milk is the mayonnaise type stuff on the salad table.
This place is on a pretty busy road. Its only skipping distance from where I'm staying tonight so thought it was super easy to find. The map marker on the happycow app will get you there easily enough.
Pros: Very vegan friendly, Smiley and helpful staff, Pretty good value for your dong
