Fun flavors - Edit
There’s really fun flavors and options of tacos. We tried the rib, carnitas and tofish - all were good. These are the very small street taco style tortillas, just fyi but we ordered enough to share between 2 of us.
Read moreGood to have a dinner reservation as this location is in an outrageously busy dining area. Also it is a very casual space, almost like a diner.

Fun and tasty - Edit
Nice place right in Soho, tacos are tasty and there are events on various days (eg. Taco Tuesday). But it is not a place to sit down and enjoy the food and company but rather to show off, take some Instagram-worthy photo and go away as there's a huge demand for seats.

Good pre-theatre option - Edit
We came here for a quick bite to eat before heading to see Moulin Rouge at the nearby Piccadilly Theatre. Everything is 100% vegan. We tried the nachos & a selection of tacos. You can also get burritos. Everything was pretty good but not really worth 5 stars. Very popular so it is best to book ahead.

Good tacos - Edit
tacos were good and so were the nachos. i’m usually not a fan of jackfruit meat substitutes, but they really killed the BBQ taco! just not the most authentic mexican tacos, that’s my biggest complaint

Fun Vegan Mexican - Edit
Friendly helpful staff and delicious vegan versions of Mexican classics. Holiday atmosphere sipping margaritas and Modelos under outdoor heat lamps. Vegan « Fish » tacos and Jackfruit « Rib » tacos were especially yummy.

I really loved the location, I walked into Kingly Court without knowing how cute it was! The staff was friendly but busy so sometimes it took a while before the food came but it was absolutely worth the wait!

Delicious vegan Mexican! - Edit
There are currently three locations - this one in kingly court is quite lively. We had loaded nachos, a cheeseburger burrito, and the BBQ tacos. All so delicious with a super yummy cheesy sauce! Also very good margaritas.
Read moreSuggest to make a reservation, as it was busy. The inside area seats only a few tables, and the outside area is partly covered by umbrellas and partly exposed. Beware if it’s raining and you are on the exposed tables, as you will get wet and they won’t let you move the table under the umbrella.
Pros: Delicious
Cons: Small venue - need reservation , Some outdoor seats not covered by umbrella

Yes please - Edit
Great selection of choice, the tacos all have distinct flavour profiles, the tortillas are 100% corn and the filling inventive and tasty. I particularly liked the "fish" taco, with tiny fried potato strands and tartare sauce. The empanadas were really tasty. It's not cheap but it's made with care and fresh ingredients.

So good! - Edit
This 100% vegan mexican outlet in Kingly Court is incredible! My partner and I ordered a burrito each (1 jackfruit, 1 chorizo and sweet potato), some refried beans and some empanadas. All were really delicious and flavourful but the jackfruit was the best I've ever had! Highly recommend. Staff are lovely too!

Amazing food and margaritas - Edit
This is our second visit to Club Mexicana and another great experience. Classic nachos followed by burrito wraps, everything was so tasty. A few frozen margaritas to wash the food down and enough left over for doggie bags. Really busy so be prepared to wait at lunchtime but really worth the effort.

Good food, Expensive, rude staff. Not in that order - Edit
Firstly, I’m not sure why happy cow has $ instead of $$ or $$$. 12 pound for 3 tacos is like $24 AUD. Club Mexicana is definitely on the pricier side.
Read moresecondly, there was a fine print on the menu that said “optional 12.5% service charge applies to all bills” (or something along these lines) we were thinking that we weren’t gonna pay if it was optional as the food was already so expensive and we’re on somewhat of a tight budget. Once our meal came to an end and we get the bill, we asked if we could split it, as we were in a group.
Straight away I said “I’ll pay for the 3 lots of tacos”
she responded with “do you guys want to take some time to work it out?”
I was like “no it’s all good we’re all just paying for our own meals we know what we’re doing”.
“Who’s paying for the service charge?”
I didn’t realised she had included the “optional” service charge on our bill, so I responded with “oh what’s the service charge,” hoping she would say it was optional and that we could opt out of it. Instead she looks at me like she was offended, and responds “umm it’s the service charge?” As if it was the most obvious thing in the world and that I was an idiot.
In hindsight I should have referenced the menu and said “isn’t it optional?” but the situation had me flustered in the moment and I didn’t speak up. I am disappointed in myself but it’s a lesson learned for next time. No harm in asking people.
Anyways splitting the bill seemed too complicated for her so we payed together and then transferred.
To be fair the food was very good, they had interesting options and it was satisfying. My favourite was the cheeseburger tacos.
Alas the food was good, but it wasn’t enough for a 4 or 5 stars give the price and other situation.
3 stars from niki_nine unfortunately. Do better
Pros: Good food, Came out quick
Cons: Rude staff, Expensive, 12.5% charge

Excellent Choice and Flavours - Edit
Turned up without a booking (my mistake!), but even though they were extremely busy, the friendly staff were very accommodating and got me a table as soon as they could.
Read moreThe majority of what I had was delicious (To-fish Tacos, Fried Chicken Tacos and Cheeseburger Burrito), the only thing I would say wasn’t worth it was the empanadas. Though they tasted good, the portion was very small considering the price. However, overall and excellent experience.
