Not all vegan, not labeled

I like the food here! The menu does not specify what is vegan and what contains dairy or eggs, so you have to ask.

Pros: Fast good food

Cons: Small menu, Unclear what is vegan

Excellent vegan options

A shockingly excellent experience in the middle of the science building. If you are visiting the campus or work there... worth a go. Pour over coffee too. Really good

Pros: Many vegan options, Quality food, All compostable containers

Good food

The platter has a good variety of vegetables and is delicious. Would love to see them include more vegan options

Great!

I’ve only been one time but I love falafel so that’s what I ordered and I loved it. I think it’s good if you want something quick and you’re in the area.

Pros: It tastes great

Cons: The cost

OMG was that vegan?

I still can’t get over the Impossible Meatballs... they were soooo good. I’ve had an Impossible Burger before, but these meatballs took it to a whole new level!

I went yesterday to check the ingredients. As of July 2019, the impossible meatballs include both whole milk and eggs for some reason.

Expensive, not very good

I appreciate them mainstreaming vegetarian food but I’ve been really disappointed each time I come here. They hide vegan options, and I don’t think their seitan sandwich is very good. The vegan muffins are good though.

yum

Really good food but I do wish they would go entirely vegan. It's not that big of a jump and it would help the planet that much more. Still though good food.

Very good food

Although it is a bit pricey, the food is very good! My favorites are the chickpea fritter sandwich and the rosemary fries!

tasty sandwiches

Had a very tasty seitan BBQ sandwich here! employees were very knowledgeable about vegan items and happy to offer accommodations for vegetarian items. Most of the menu was already vegan.

Pros: tasty rotating menu

Cons: not super cozy

Not Vegan Friendly

I was very disappointed with my experience at Clover. I have been hearing for months how good the food is and I liked the idea of a mostly plant-based restaurant gaining so much traction. I attempted to order breakfast from Clover. I asked the server why they didn't have any vegan breakfast sandwiches. He replied that they thought that breakfast items needed to have eggs in them. I noticed that one of the sandwiches was mostly vegan except that it had cheese on it and was served on a popover (made with lots of eggs). I asked if I could have that sandwich without the cheese on one of the other breakfast sandwich breads that was vegan. I was told "we're not allowed to do that." I communicated with the restaurant via their facebook page hoping to hear that this was just an employee who had gone rogue. I was informed that this was in fact company policy. Apparently, training the workers to make the sandwiches is so difficult that they are not allowed to make such accommodations for fear that even slight deviations will compromise the quality of the food for all of the people that are willing to order the items without asking for changes. I was shocked that a restaurant that professes to be committed to mostly plant-based cuisine would a. not offer a vegan sandwich, b. not make a simple accommodation so that a sandwich could be made vegan, and c. thinks that it is a reasonable policy for the restaurant to tell vegans that they are basically not welcome. This vegan will not be returning until they make an effort to make reasonable accommodations.

Cons: No vegan options, Unwillingness to make minor vegan accommodation, Rude service
