Vegetarian food truck company turned brick & mortar with several outlets throughout the Boston Metro Area. Serves burgers, sandwiches, vegetable platters, fries, daily soup, hot & cold beverages and more. Menu changes by the minute to keep up with daily available produce from farms in New England. For this reason, there is no set or static menu. Most dishes can be made vegan upon request. Open Mon-Sat 7:00am-10:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Decent food - Edit
Food is good. I think it is middle-eastern type food mostly. They have an app that makes it easy to order.

Great food - Edit
Went with my daughter and grandson in early November after an exhausting 3 hour tour of the Peabody and Natural History Museums. Food we ordered was outstanding and delicious. A lot of fun.

Stopped for a coffee which was fine. In the zone and bought a cake and then realised it wasn’t vegan…doh!

A hit and a miss - Edit
I was so excited when I saw their infographic about the climate change aspect of plant based eating. Then I realized that they’re not plant based- almost all of their food has dairy and eggs. Overall, super disappointing

Fast food - Edit
The vegan options are limited and the ones they had were mostly fried ones.

Pretty good fast casual for a mixed crowd - Edit
We got the chickpea fritter (aka falafel) platter and the seasonal zucchini platter which came with a couple of slices of tofu in a sweet sauce. We also got the fries. The food was good and filling. I liked the sides a lot (kale and bean salad and a black lentil side) as well as the harissa sauce that came with the chickpea platter. Falafel was fine, nothing special. Pita was hot and soft. Fries were unfortunately overdone and not that tasty. It was a good spot to satisfy vegans and non-vegans. Although vegan items were not labeled on the menu, the person taking our order was well-prepared to tell us what was vegan, veganizable, and not vegan. Prices were fair.

Pretty Good - Edit
Vegan options are pretty good. Warning: Not made for vegans or vegetarians. Its purpose is to show meat eaters how vegetarian food can be good. Good to bring non veg friends to try it. Unfortunately, the impossible meatballs aren’t vegan. The have eggs and milk mixed in. About 4 main vegan options. You will most of the time have to ask for vegan.

Not vegan friendly - Edit
The only fully vegan sandwich on the menu is... a falafel ("chickpea fritter" sounds fancier, I suppose). Other sandwiches have cheese or mayo, for example, and they won't replace them with vegan versions. I ordered the tempeh BLT and it was small and dry without mayo or much else in it, but still cost almost $10. Afterwards I was still super hungry so I ordered fries, which were expensive and overdone. I had been hoping to try the impossible meatball sandwich, but the meatballs have both eggs and whole milk in them (why would you take something specifically vegan and make it not vegan?). Finally, vegan items are not labeled on the menu, which makes ordering difficult.

Cons: Vegan items not labeled, Few vegan choices, non-vegan ingredients not replaced

p.s. it is not a food truck, but an actual fast-food place.

Holy heck! It’s good! - Edit
A great spot that not only offer plenty of vegan options, and the ability to customize things to vegan but many coffee, beer and other drinks as well. On top of that they have a fine selection of food science literature and take away products.

Now bricks and mortar - not a food truck - Edit
This is now a cafe with heavy takeout focus, not a food truck. Great options and a good app for ordering ahead of time. Vegan options available and easily filterable on their website or app

Amazing - Edit
They make their own pita bread and everything they put in it is delicious. My favorites are the Mayor Menino and the Impossible Meatball sub. They have lots of healthy options as well.
