Nice place; not great for vegan food

Cosy restaurant in a lovely building with nice staff. Very few vegan options though. The cauliflower and rosemary soup I had as a starter was nice, but wasn't cheap. Also, their vegan main option (they only have one dedicated choice on the menu) was quite basic and not that flavourful - essentially just pasta, mushrooms, courgette and garlic, priced at over a tenner. Nothing special, and at that price I can't deny that the main course especially left me feeling pretty ripped off.

Would love to see more vegan-friendly options, especially mains (or if you already have these, please put them clearly on the menu!), and a lot more love/ effort put into them, as well as lower pricing for meals which clearly cost far less to make in terms of ingredients and time. If this restaurant did that I would love to give it a great review.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Nice staff, Lovely historic building

Cons: Poor vegan selection, Only one vegan main marked on menu, Main seemed very overpriced
