Poor experience

Has gone seriously downhill since it opened. Also this is no longer an all vegan restaurant. Clean Kitchen hardly has any vegan options, and what it does have is poor quality. The vegan ‘chicken’ burger is bland.

At the time of going the restaurant was not busy (Sunday around 1:30pm), which is a sign - but we were in a hurry so decided to eat where there were the least queues. Service still took longer than usual, fries came out at a separate time to our burgers. They also managed to get the fries wrong - they were very oily and not fully cooked through. Staff look unkept, unhappy and rushed, restaurant is dirty with heavily stained chairs. I also think it’s understaffed.

For what you get this restaurant is overpriced. Meal deals are only available at certain times of day.

I wouldn’t bother going here, there are plenty of other lovely places at Battersea Power Station to spend your good money. Clean Kitchen was the worst food experience I’ve ever had.

Cons: Dirty environment , Poor quality food, Lack of atmosphere

Not open and now not vegan anymore

Travelled an hour and a half by bus to come and it’s not open on a Saturday night despite everything else being open. Maybe it’s closed?

Avoid!!!

This is absurd, I've been a few times as it was the only vegan thing around but today after I placed my order they told me I had ordered a "mix of vegan and non-vegan".
They decided to no longer been vegan!! but kept their name, including "clean" which makes no sense when you serve beef!!!!!
So now they're basically like McDonald's, some crappy fast food where you can get a vegan burger but also tons of dead animals.
I will never go back and I hope they go out of business

No longer vegan

I have been to Clean Kitchen a few times. The burgers were unremarkable but decent enough. They have now started serving meat - I can see no point in visiting them anymore.

Cons: No longer vegan

Not vegan anymore!

Avoid this place, owners aren’t vegan and they now sell animal products. They haven’t updated their website but posted on Instagram.

Cons: Not fully vegan

It’s alright

The foods alright. It’s just vegan fast food. Overpriced (it’s London) and nothing innovative. It’s nice to have so
where where you can go and it’s all vegan though

Great Clean Find

Lovely find in Battersea Power Station. The katsu bowl was so flavourful and filling, excellent for the price too. My partner had the smash burger which he loved.

Pros: Great food, Great prices for the area.

Cons: Service can be slow when busy

Eat it. Just eat it!

So tasty and delicious. Also for non-vegans, the patties are really juicy and the “bacon” crisp 😋 #Veganuary

A surprise delight

I was away for work so instead of getting bland hotel food I ordered the chik'n mayo burger, nuggets and fries with rosemary salt. I really enjoyed it and would like to go into one of their actual restaurants

Pretty good but pricey

I’ve tried the truffle burger which was really nice! Recommend that one.
The kastu bowl was okay but i wouldn’t get it again. And finally the açai bowls are quite nice but pretty simple compared to what other places do.
Overall, I like it since it’s a great location next to the park and all vegan, but isn’t exactly cheap

Amazing nuggets!

For fast food options, you can’t go wrong here! Had a falafel bowl and a green smoothie, with a side of nuggets (as they came free with the app) and they were so realistic to chicken and so so tasty 😋

Overpriced food

I had:
Truffle Mayo burger
Chick'n nuggets
House fries

The chicken substitute was dry and flavourless. I really wanted to love it but it was average at best.
The smoothies looked good but were £7.95 each so I didn't try one on this occasion.

Pros: 100% plant based, Dog friendly, Aiming to be environmentally friendly

Cons: Expensive, Lacking flavour

Delicious but not perfect

It’s lovely to have accessible vegan fast food and everything I’ve tried has tasted great. It’s a little on the pricey side for what it is though. It also definitely could have been hotter, especially the fries.

Pros: All vegan!

Cons: Slightly pricey , Food needs to be hotter

Awesome place, lots of options from healthy to junk food vegan

People were saying the place was expensive, but it wasn’t? It was £5.50 for a Buddha bowl which I thought was reasonable. Maybe the other options are pricier but wow, I am so satisfied with this place. I would go every day if I lived here. They also have good burgers and fries. I haven’t tried their açaí bowls.

Pros: Price is reasonable for the healthy foods, The healthy foods are low calorie, Great flavor

Cons: You have to buy canned water

Didn’t get what we ordered

We ordered 2 different types of burgers, but both got the same, didn’t really want to wait again for the correct one. One drink we bought wasn’t cold as the fridge wasn’t working, so we had it replaced. They then must have realised they shouldn’t have stored salads and wraps in there so moved them.
Burgers were tasty, but would have been good to try different ones.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Inaccurate order, A lot of high stools, Katsu sauce very messy!

Disappointing experience

Our visit to this branch of Clean Kitchen started really well – we were greeted with friendly enthusiasm by the staff who were eager to tell us about their different offerings, and even gave us a free hot chocolate to try (it was delicious!) We went for the BBQ Cheeze burger, Katsu Clean burger, 6 nuggets, loaded fries and the Biscoff Christmas doughnut. The Katsu Clean burger was tasty although I’m not sure it was worth the price of almost £10. The loaded fries and nuggets were also very tasty but unfortunately it was downhill from there. When we opened the BBQ Cheeze burger it was cold. I asked for it to be reheated and they were very happy to oblige and apologetic but after waiting a while to get the reheated burger back it was returned slightly lukewarm on the top and when I opened it up it was still completely cold inside. We were very disappointed and after that we didn’t really feel like bothering anymore so we just got it refunded and left. Later on we ate the Christmas doughnut and that was also lacklustre. It contained very little Biscoff and the doughnut itself was poor and cheap tasting – definitely not worth the £3.35 it cost us.

Pros: Tasty loaded fries and nuggets, Delicious hot chocolate, Friendly staff

Cons: BBQ Burger was cold (even after it was reheated), Katsu Clean Burger wasn't worth the price

Nice food, disappointing experience

I really wanted to love this and give a higher rating, but unfortunately I was underwhelmed and disappointed with my trip to Clean. The brand is great, the staff were super friendly (got a free hot chocolate on entry) and the venue is really cool.

We ordered the BBQ Cheeze and Katsu Clean burgers, along with the loaded fries and Chick’n Nuggets. The Chick’n Nuggets were delicious, would highly recommend getting these, and the loaded fries were nice too. I do think the chips could have been hotter and I could feel myself quickly eating them before they got cold. The Katsu Clean burger was also tasty, but was on the lukewarm side and it did come out looking a bit squashed. Sadly our BBQ Cheeze was stone cold, and despite sending it back to heat up it came back looking like it had been stepped on, and was still completely cold. We ended up getting a refund for it.

I was shocked that the burger on its own was £9.65, and to be honest with the limited filling in the burger I don’t think even when served hot the burger is worth the price point. We also got a Biscoff Doughnut to take away, which was also quite underwhelming and only about a quarter (being generous) was filled with biscoff.

Really sad because we’ve been to another Clean Kitchen before and the food was great!

Fully Vegan Fast Food

Tasty food. Nice range of pastries as well, which can be hard to find as a vegan. I had an almond Croisssant which was a really good size and delicious.

We went for a late lunch, about 2.45pm and it was very busy. Although the whole of the power station was extremely busy as well, so not unique to the Clean Kitchen Club.

Nice but..

Really liked the space, it had a good “vibe” and the staff were very friendly. The burgers are beyond meat and very tasty but the fries were very hard. I also had a pain au raisin which was nice but have had better. They claim to be low carbon but the water is shipped in from Austria! Overall I would go back but not buy water from over 1200kms away.

Great Spot

Love that Battersea Power Station has a fully vegan eaterie. We went with kids who loved the Chickn Nuggets and cupcakes. The BBQ Burger was really really good, would definitely get that again. The Pesto Melt was ok, not very 'melty', and it could have had a bit more vegan chickn and a bit less pesto, but overall not too bad.
Clean, spacious, modern, and plenty of room.

Clean Kitchen Club

Excellent to see another clean kitchen club location pop up. Since this location had just opened, as well as the broader shopping area it’s located in, it was extremely busy and the restaurant ran out of a lot of its menu items. I ended up getting the mac and cheese with fake bacon and it was boring. My partner got the burger and thought it was average. The vegan croissant was massive and delicious.
