Western food in Tainan - Edit
Nice menu with a range of options from risotto, tagliatelli, salads, bread, soup..
Read moreVegetarian and vegan options are clearly marked
English menu available
Portion sizes are good
Ingredients seem fresh
Not too oily
...but for me, not so flavourful and not enough vegetables
Also they refilled my water constantly and took away dishes you only just finished - ultra fast service! Feel a bit rushed somehow..
I had mediterranean vegetable tomato sauce tagliatelle and i didn't see any vegetables.
But the pasta was fresh, not over processed or dry
The pumpkin soup was a bit bland
It's a nice try!
The restaurant vibes are quite fancy, may be good to visit with friends, family, on a date.. ;)
Pros: Established, clean, spacious restaurant, Vegetarian and vegan western food, Nice menu options
Cons: Bland food, Expensive

Fantastic salad - Edit
Had the mushroom with balsamic vinegar etc salad. Best salad I have ever had, orange juice was fine (bit small). Had to wait for a table as they were quite busy (on a wed afternoon) but spoke really good English, very accommodating and took my phone number to ring me when they were ready. Lots of cute boutique shops nearby too. Have to order at the counter, but you pay after you have had your meal.. which I thought was a little strange.

Cons: Pricier ($250 for a salad)

Great place to eat - Edit
Just off the main road you’ll see the sign of the restaurant hanging on the wall. Just around the corner you’ll find Clean and Wild Eats. Nice open space and interior with nice details. The food is also really good. We had a salad with avocado and grilled veggies and pasta. They are vegan friendly. Also try the local beer!
