While this may appear to be a vegan friendly place, I had a very unsettling experience with the owner of this establishment. He made a comment to me that was racist (I am white, so perhaps he thought I would agree) complained about having to pay his employees more than $7/hour and ranted on and on about environmental protections(particularly related to oil) I later looked at his Facebook profile to see if I could better understand him and if maybe I didn't fully understand the context of his remarks. He had several disparaging/mocking posts about vegans. I would question if his "vegan" products are actually vegan, and if they are, I would still question handing over money to an individual like this.
