well… okay, but not what i expected - Edit
Friendly stuff (head of the store?) but a bit too pricey for battered tofu with no fishy taste at all. I ordered vegan fish‘n‘chips and was not told that it‘s tofu with no further ingredient (nor salt). Thought - because of the reviews here - that it was something more refined though😉

Good option - Edit
For a local fish and chips vegan options are good and affordable. I definitely recommend the battered sausage.

Not vegan as they use the same oil for fish and chips - Edit
I was excited to see a chippy with a whole 'vegan' menu so I asked them to confirm if the chips were fully vegan. I was told they are fried in the same oil as their fish, so I avoided. Depends on personal preference but I wouldn't eat here.

Cons: Vegan menu is not really vegan, or even vegetarian

Staff don't know what vegan means - Edit
Waited 10 minutes for an order of tofu bites takeaway, got home and it was fried meat sausages. Seems the staff just stuffs whatever they want in the bag to get the line moving.

Best chip shop in Canterbury! - Edit
Lovely family run business. Had trouble ordering online so I rung them and they sorted it straight away for me. Best vegan battered sausages and chips I've had!

Vegan menu - Edit
The banana blossom vegan fish is amazing, and the battered tofu is also spot on. The owners observe Lent by being vegan (Orthodox Catholic I think?) so they're very knowledgeable about vegan food and cross contamination etc. Great chips also, highly recommend.

Cons: They took battered sausage off their vegan menu :(

I went there last week and they confirmed that their chips and vegan products are fried in the same oil as the fish :-(
