Great Vegan in Fredericton - Edit
We just found Cinnamon Cafe. It is so hard to find Vegan food in Fredericton, and this restaurant is nearly all Vegan. There is a wide selection of delicious Persian dishes. The portions are perfect.

Delicious Food - Edit
I didn't think I'd be a fan of this place due to the flavor palate, but I definitely was. The food is amazing, it's a super charming place. The vegan baklava is absolutely to die for. This is definitely a come and eat when you have a lot of time place, and not a fast food place. But the food is worth the wait and then some.

Lovely spicing - Edit
This was my first chance to try Persian food in New Brunswick. The geymeh stew is my favourite, but I want to try everything. It’s a treat to have so much choice of vegan food. No meat dishes here.

Great Food - Edit
Cinnamon Cafe offers a nice assortment of Middle-Eastern cuisine. They use quality ingredients (like saffron) that makes the food taste great!

Lovely spot - Edit
Really nice space, very small so probably not the best to go during dinner rush. The few times we have been the service takes quite a long time but it is always worth it in the end. The food is truly flavourful and so different than anything else in Fredericton. Really happy to support this small business. Love the falafels!

Flavorful and Fun! - Edit
So glad I chose this cafe for dinner! Enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves, celery stew, and chocolate cake. Everything was flavorful and filling. The cafe itself is charming, with local artwork on the walls. Can't wait to go back and try something new.

Great variety and awesome cake! - Edit
Went midweek, off hours. Server (owner?) was so accommodating and patient with us for all of our questions (involving a dairy allergy in family). Food very tasty, menu original and great Persian food.

Amazingly surprised! - Edit
The food was delicious and the service was awesome. I highly recommend the vegan burger! Sooooo good! And the deserts are impossible to pick from! Just have them all (make sure to ask as some are vegetarian.. not vegan). As a side note - I had been there a few years ago and was very very disappointed. I left my original review at the bottom to connect to any comments you may have heard. ***I tried it again since it is new under new management and everyone raves about it. I ALWAYS want to support local vegan spots so the below is an OLD review. Above is updated. ****
Read moreI really want to support any vegan friendly restaurant but I was very disappointed and can't go back. The first time we went half the food was cold (tatters) and had obviously sat in the pass for some time. The second time we got food from there, the dessert I had had not one, not two, but three hair in it (that I found...) so I never ate it. I'm sad that I can't support them.... I really wanted to. But the "hair situation" prevented me from giving it another try.

Yuck I can understand your disappointment, to be fair when I receive the this kind of service and to find hair, I point out the shortcomings to the staff not on public media. You would be surprised how appreciative they are to have the opportunity to address issues with staff. However you should never have hair in your food. So unfortunate since all my visits her have been just wonderful.

Eastern Canada finds best Veggie surprise In Fredericton!!! - Edit
In a nondescript building on King street I was served one of the best meals ever. The service was incredible, the food just the freshest tastiest nicely spiced with some beautiful aromas. The falafels; never in my life have I tasted heaven like the food in this restaurant. Then to top it off the cake and coffee. Oh the art on the wall also lends to a beautiful atmosphere but the food!!!!!!!

Cute spot in the heart of Fredericton - Edit
Went to this restaurant on Saturday night, was exceptionally surprised by the taste of the desert! Would go back just for the baklava.
Read moreWe had the Falafal wrap and the falafal plate - which were not my favorite, the falafal balls were bland and slightly burnt. On the other hand the Quinoa Confetti Salad had some different flavors and they worked (i'm going to make this salad at home). Also the spring rolls were the best I have ever had, the chickpea mixture brought something new to a traditional appetizer.
Pros: The staff were wonderful, The vibe was awesome, Best Baklava EVER
Cons: Falafal balls slightly burnt
