Vegan sushi - Edit
Stopped by today and had the vegan San Diego roll. We’ll definitely be back again to try some of the other vegan options.

Wrong order twice (once with pork!) - Edit
After wanting to try CinKuni for months, I finally had the opportunity. The idea of a Japanese and Italian fusion made my heart very happy. For an appetizer, we shared a vegan crunchy sushi roll. It was really good! However, it all went downhill from here for me. I ordered the veganized focaccia linus pizza (replace meat with mushrooms and add vegan cheese).
Read moreDue to miscommunication (this was our fault, too), I accidentally ate a piece of my boyfriend's pizza with pork… absolutely disgusting for me. This was a few days ago, but I still don’t want to think about it. After this, I was hoping for my pizza to come out so I could try to forget this happened, but then mine came out with pork, too. They apologized and sent it back. Due to the pizzas being cooked one by one, I had to wait again (understandable), but my second pizza came out wrong again with no potatoes. I asked for the potatoes on the side (I had to wait again), and by this time, I was beyond hangry.
While it’s unfair to dock them for the first mistake, the second two were frustrating. It may have been an off day, but I would be extra careful before you eat anything from this restaurant, even if it’s labeled vegan. I definitely learned my lesson that no matter how hungry, I always ask before eating!

The food deserves 5 stars! - Edit
Our 2 favorite types of food are Asian & Italian so CinKuni was the perfect place! The food was outstanding.

The pizza dough was pillowy soft yet crispy on the outside. The ramen was some of the best we’ve ever had! As was the sushi roll. The inari is so simply yet filled with comforting flavor.
Can’t wait to go back again! (& again & again)
Pros: Many vegan options , No upcharge for vegan cheese , Cool vibe & friendly staff
