Amazing place! - Edit
The wrap is very delicious! The line moves quickly, be ready with your plastic bag when you get to the front! Place is easy to find. This is a must for the vegan visitor to Istanbul!

This was a very authentic, interesting experience! You go into a (normally) very long line, you pay 5 liras to get a wrap and voila! The guy is completely crazy and it so funny to watch !! They have this coordination where a guy puts on the sauce and the other is throwing the lettuce!

Cheap and cheerful fast food with one option served multiple ways - spicey/not so spicey, wrap or plate. For 5L the wrap was a bargain and was nice to try something local .
Read moreI am one of the few that found it average, Spicey bulgur with a few spices, lettuce and lemon juice in a bread wrap. There’s not much more to it than that.
The queue was long but moves quickly.

Amazing, delicious, fast and sooo good. Plantbased wrap. We said no to spicy and it still had a big kick. If its to hot, there are side tables with extra sauce to add that cools it down. We purchased for our stomachs and ordered 4 between us. When we starts eating we realised it was to many. Ild say 1 per person is enough or maybe 1 to share if your super hungry. But it's so easy to like up, that i would say buy 1 first. My partner and I lined up with 50 poeple to get this. We thought it would take forever but it took us 5 minutes, if that. Fresh, tasty, and good for the budget.

Super filling and fast (made in a few seconds) for only 5 lira. The owner is very funny and puts on a bit of a show. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the taste but can’t complain for the price.

Dude is a psycho, makes the whole thing a pretty fun experience. The wrap is 5 lira aka cheap as hell and really filling. Even the non spicy wrap is pretty spicy.

I would have never found this place without the Happy Cow app, I am so grateful. We had lunch from this food stand, hidden down an alley, and the chef basically puts on a show for everyone in the queue. He also handed out samples of the bulghur mixture on lettuce leaves while we waited, which was a nice touch. What you get is a spicy bulghur filling with pomegranate sauce, lettuce, and lemon juice in a wrap. It sounds basic and it is, but the flavours will knock your socks off! So fresh! We ate ours in a little nearby park in front of the Bosphorus.

It's in a little side street. You can recognise it by loud shouting and a long line. It's still the fastest fast-food I've gotten so far. Absolutely delicious, especially with the pomegranate syrup mixed with fresh lemon as sauce. Fair warning though, the hot one will burn your face off!

Ali's cigkofte is delicious and very cheap (3.5 TL at the time of writing this review). There is often a line in front of the shop, but it is definitely worth spending 15 minutes of your time waiting. Ali is always entertaining people in the queue, the whole cigkofte-making process is a show of its own.

Not sure if these guys have any idea about what vegan means but the cig kofte they serve is exactly that and delicious and the making of it is full on show! The busy chef throws stuff and runs around, makes a lot of hassle and is surrounded by locals trying to sneakingly film him and his sidekicks that somehow try to keep the situation under control :D It's a whole show and entertainment, straight from the allies of Istanbul!

Read moreThe entire process is an experience, from waiting in line to getting your wrap through into your bag.
You want to order durum cig kofte (3.5 TL) and get a plastic bag from the guy who takes your order. Then just watch what everyone else does. You will probably be yelled at, made fun of, its hilarious even when you can't understand a word, half the line are filming on their smart phones. Stressful but fun.
Then the food is amazing, most filling meal for the price in all of Turkey.

The cook might be crazy or he's just building a crowd...can't tell. He yells at everyone and chased a guy with a bat. That said, you can't beat the taste and price.
