Huge portions - Edit
Delicious food from a local business. The portions on their noodle dishes are enormous! Sandwiches are great too (but not over the top in size). Owner is incredibly dedicated to helping her local community. Wish I could make it down here more often.

Above and beyond! - Edit
We were visiting relatives and got takeout from here. The food was excellent, and the quantities were large. In addition the owner is extremely nice and generous, she even gave a toy to my little cousin. If I lived in Seattle eating here would definitely be a regular occurrence.

Great variety - Edit
We tried 3 different Banh mi and we’re really happy with the variety of flavor. Bbq pork and BBQ Duck were our favorite. Wish their do chua was homemade, but their sauces are yummy and the bread is perfect. Call your orders in if you order close to opening, their online ordering is easy but our order was missed until we arrived for pickup.
Read moreAsk for extra jalapeño/cilantro if you like it, each sandwich was very light on that.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Customer parking, Under $10 for a meal
Cons: Online ordering is awkward, Do chua isn’t great

Nostalgic taste of Vietnamese Buddhist temple food - Edit
This place is the greatest! We’ve been twice so far, trying a range of different dishes. My partner didn’t grow up on Vietnamese vegetarian food like the kind I remember when I’d go to the temple with my family, or when I would be on retreat at a Plum Village monastery and practice center. I was pleased he could try this kind of food and I’m glad it left a good impression on him. So much flavour and the spirit of compassion is infused into the cooking. The owner is a very kind woman. I look forward to being back!

Best vegan banh mi - Edit

Read moreRecommend? Yes.
I arrived right after they open with my luggage because I was starving from my long train ride in from Whitefish, MT. The server was super nice. He got me hot tea and banh cam to settle in with. I ordered bo bia (autumn rolls), vegan pho, and roasted pork banh mi (to go).
The banh cam had a thick dough and it was huge. Two of those could've been a whole meal.
Everything I ordered was delicious and they were so kind! My favorite was definitely the banh mi. It was even good after I had refridgerated it. The best part was the vegan butter and vegan pate. I absolutely loved it, best vegan banh mi I've had.

The most authentic and delicious banh mi I’ve ever had - and super affordable - Edit
This place is a hidden gem! It’s a little dingey looking but you will not be disappointed. Their banh mi’s are perfect, cheap, and bursting with flavor. Fresh rolls are also awesome. Lovely owners/service too.

My favorite food in Seattle - Edit
I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The Bahn Mis here are out of this world, we get them pretty much every week. They have lots of different options. The lemongrass chicken is my favorite!! Roommates of mine love the pork skin and tofu as well. They’re all good bahn mi at Chuminh.

Amazing deli with a great selection - Edit
ChuMinh is a wonderful spot - great selection of bahn mis (I tried the BBQ one and it was wonderful) and a really fantastic deli section. It is a rare and wonderful thing to experience a vegan deli! The people are also extremely friendly - one woman gave me a spring roll while I was waiting for my order 🥺. A 10/10 spot and definitely worth visiting.

An odd gem - Edit
My family ate here while on vacation. Coming from suburban Ohio we were honestly a bit nervous on our walk to this place as it isn't in the best of areas and the parking lot outside was particularly sketchy. It was also a little confusing when we went in to figure out how and what to order.
Read moreOnce we figured it out the folks who took our orders and served us were friendly and helpful. Communication was a little tough, but we got through it. We ordered the buffet, some fried rolls, and bubble tea. Everything was fantastic.
If you are a health conscious person this probably isn't the place for you because there is a lot of fake meats and a fair number of the items were somewhat oily.
They seem to be very good and generous people, serving the community with free food on certain days and the staff gave us the ok to share buffet items with my son who didn't get the buffet.
Pros: All vegan, lots of options, Tasty, vegan bubble tea, Kind people, good value
Cons: Sketchy neighborhood, Not the healthiest place

MUST TRY! - Edit
Went here yesterday on my short visit to Seattle and loved it! Beat vegan Vietnamese food I’ve had to date! The owner was super sweet and encouraged me to try the buffet so I could taste everything and there wasn’t one item I didn’t like! And on top of that JACKFRUIT BOBA! Need I say more?

FAVORITE! - Edit
This is my favorite restaurant, my kids' favorite restaurant, and the place where we get a ton of bahn mi when we have a crowd of vegan and picky-about-being-a-meat-eater family and friends around. ChuMinh is the best. Plus, the nicest people.

Delicious!!! - Edit
Quick service and great menu! We tried the Veggie Pho with homemade tofu “ham” which had a savory flavor, mushrooms, carrots, and wheat noodles. Also got the spring rolls which had great flavor and a ton of vegetables in them. We also got the bao which was very tasty but had a paper film stuck the bottom we couldn’t get off, so we just had to eat the top portion of the bao.
