Don't miss out! Amazing prices. Amazing food. So many vegan meat options I'd never heard of before. Staff treated us like family and we got (vegan) eggrolls on the house. Incredible.

Don’t skip this gem - Edit
It might not look like much, but ChuMinh is not to be missed. The spicy tofu Banh Mi is my favorite, and the sesame balls are to die for. Try the buffet, order off the menu, buy their in-house meat substitutes by the pound to bring home for your own cooking. You can’t go wrong. My only wish is that ChuMinh be within walking distance of my home.

Excellent all-vegan Vietnamese deli and restaurant! - Edit
Friendly, warm restaurant/deli in an out of the way corner of Seattle.
Read moreLocated in a small (and scruffy) cluster of stores on a busy intersection. Off-street parking right in front of the restaurant.
The food was delicious, and the service (by owner?) was excellent. There is a buffet as well as a made-to-order menu for carry out or dine in (dining room adjacent to the deli counter).
Excellent value for the money, and all vegan menu. You can select from a hot buffet counter, order from the menu (I had a BBQ "pork" banh mi), on line, or from delivery services.
A real find!
Pros: Quality of food, Warm atmosphere and excellent food, Reasonable prices and generous portions
Cons: Scruffy surroundings, but no one bothered me

I really tried to like it - Edit
After reading all of the reviews I was so excited to go here. The owner is super nice and welcoming but the food was so disappointing. I tried everything on the buffet and didn’t enjoy any of it. Some things were over seasoned, others under seasoned and overall nothing tasted good. I didn’t try anything off the menu but I don’t plan on going back to give it a second chance.

So much more than tofu… - Edit
While Chuminh’s house made tofu is legendary, they offer so much more. While the buffet is a bit pricey post-pandemic, it’s worth it to try a variety of their offerings.

Wow! Get Their Banh Mi - Edit
To start - BEST vegan banh mi I have had in my plant-based ventures. Most banh mi shops will offer a standard, dry tofu banh mi as their only option. Here you can pick from a variety of options with or without mock meats. I went with their Sesame Beef Banh Mi ($8) and not only was the price great compared to California, but the bread was toasty, the spread was fantastic (esp as it's vegan), and the beef was great. The sandwich was bomb and I've yet to find a better spot to get banh mi.
Read moreWe also got their Banh Xeo ($15) and Hu Tieu ($12). I haven't had banh xeo since going plant-based and this one was a great re-introduction. The crepe batter was super crispy and the fillings used tofu and mushrooms instead of meat. I loved the flavors and together with the vegan fish sauce was a great appetizer. It came out last since they had to make it fresh.
The Hu Tieu had a wonderfully flavored broth with noodles and veggies. It was a fantastic bowl of noodles to enjoy on a cold Seattle day.
With kind service and amazing food, I absolutely fell in love with this Mom & Pop show and wish I could go back to it more and more. They do offer a buffet option which was attractive as it's all vegan, but their entrees proved just as great and filling that we didn't need the buffet this time.
Pros: Vegan Vietnamese buffet available, Fantastic banh mi

We went for the buffet and everything was so darn good. I love tofu skin a ton and they have it sautéed in multiple sauces all delicious. I left here so full I physically couldn’t eat another bite though I mentally wanted more! The server that helped us was very kind. If I visit Seattle again I will insist on going another time

Very tasty buffet - Edit
Very authentic place and food. We chose the vegan buffet and paid $11/pound, we we ended up spending $25 for a full meal for two people, which is phenomenal. If you’re looking for a fancy dining experience, this is not the place for you, but we loved it for the diverse and tasty food and the fact that it was very affordable.

Mind blown - Edit
Delicious creative vegan food that wasn't pretentious just fun. We ordered off of the menu but maybe should have just gotten the buffet because it was the same price. I The menu was online only and for a couple of luddites that was inconvenient. So yup great food but could get some menus.

The sesame balls were so good and the bahn mi is also super flavorful and yummy. I went with a meat eater and they said it was the most tender faux meat they've had. Definitely feel free to take non-vegans here without issues. The buffet also looked great. They have so much to offer here!

Had the egg rolls - so good!
Read moreTofu banh mi - huge, a lot of bread (good bread)
Roasted pork banh mi - delicious, also huge
Fried rice - delicious, so much flavor
Banana with sticky rice - had this for dessert but I was not a fan at all. It had very limited flavor, and just was not great. It tasted like a dried fruit bar heated up, so you may like this if you don't like sweet dessert
