Would give this five stars if I could! - Edit
Chuku’s was an all around incredible experience, and thoroughly recommended.
Read moreThe vegan options on the menu are clearly labelled. They suggest getting 3 - 4 plates per person, so I got sinasir and miyan taushe (Rice pancakes served with a pumpkin-peanut stew), moi moi (savoury, steamed pudding made from puréed beans, sweet red peppers and onion), egusi bowl, (three stews: egusi - Nigerian melon seed; spinach, coriander & fennel; red bell pepper & tomato - served with cassava dumplings) and shared a jollof rice. I also got a yam brownie for dessert. All the food was utterly delicious, and a good potion size.
All the staff were lovely, and so kind to everyone we saw them interact with. The food came really quickly, the restaurant itself is really cute. We honestly could not have had any better of an experience.
It’s worth booking in advance because it does get pretty busy.

Exceptional soulfood - Edit
I've never had Nigerian food before, we ordered every vegan option on the menu (had it delivered) and were really happy with the many different tastes and textures. The spicy sauce is a blast, I couldn't stop eating it even though it was too spicy for my usual taste.

Tasty tasty - Edit
Really delicious mix of flavours and textures. Smallish plates but filling if you have three of four. About £30 each including soft drinks so would cost more with alcohol, it felt like a fair price for an interesting and tasty meal. Friendly staff, colourful place. A good balance available of protein, carbs, fibre and veg.

Good to have in Tottenham - Edit
Went for their brunch and tried everything vegan on the menu. It was lovely! I was concerned that one item was marked vegan but the menu mentioned honey.

Sensational - Edit
My first time here and my first time eating Nigerian food. Definitely won’t be my last. My mouth is still singing with the fabulous flavours and textures. There’s a vegan section on the menu with lots of choice. Three small plates were more than enough per person. It’s rightly busy so best to book if going at a busy time. But go. You won’t regret it.

If you're looking for a good (non-vegan) restaurant to take your omnivore friends and family to - this is the one!
Read moreWith about 8-10 vegan options on the menu, they've got something for everyone.
The rice pancake with pumkin and peanut was my favourite!
I didn't get a dessert but they looked really good too.

EXCELLENT! - Edit
The first Nigerian tapas restaurant and so much on the menu is vegan (plus gluten free). My sister and I ordered three plates each to share, plus the plantain waffles and yam brownie, both with ice cream, for pudding. All super tasty and satisfying. The Egusi Bowl with yam dumplings was a favourite. The ginger gin cocktail also went down a treat. Highly recommended.

Perfect! - Edit
HC doesn't allow me to give 5* to restaurants that aren't fully vegetarian/vegan, but this place deserves it! About half their menu is vegan, so you'll have plenty of choice.
