The BEST hashbrowns! - Edit
The app didn't let me rate it 5 stars because it is not completely vegan.

Decent vegan section of their menu - Edit
This place has a dedicated (mainly) vegan menu. I love their oatmeal and they are generous with the toppings!
Read moreI've also had their spinach salad with added black beans and felt satisfied after.
I'm wanting to try their vegan burger - sounds tasty.
Overall, for Redmond, I'm happy this place is trying.
Pros: The oatmeal really is good and hearty, Cute house atmosphere, Friendly service
Cons: The air smells like meat and eggs

Limited options - Edit
I appreciate their attempts to accommodate with an vegan list on their menu. Unfortunately the options lack in creativity on vegan dishes. We can do more than an oatmeal bowl

Worst vegan food ever - Edit
I agree, with whoever wrote they do not know what vegan is. To be served, oats, with no milk alternatives, really? Gross! And green's, with no vegan dressings, besides balsamic, really? Boring, bland, gross, greasy food. They know nothing, yet there's a culinary institute 15 miles away, turning out vegan chefs everyday. Hello~

Cons: Everything related to vegan.

Avoid - Edit
The word vegan seems to be foreign here. Under the veganish section they have includes eggs. Lots of dead animals on the menu.

Cons: Dead animals, Lacks creativity with veg options

Whole Food Plant-based/Vegan Menu page - Edit
The WFPB meals are delicious. The portion sizes are generous. Plenty of protein in each entree (i.e., black beans, nuts, seeds, etc.). A vegan bread/toast is available and delicious. (The GF bread/toast is not vegan). Vegan margarine is also used.
Read moreThe vegan menu page/entrees were added in 2013. Unfortunately, they have since added animal options to the page.

Charming - Edit
We ate at Christie's Kitchen in the fall. I had a gluten free bread and vegan black bean burger and fries. The food was good. Disclaimer: I was hungry. The gluten free bread not too shabby. The burger might have benefited from a little salt-nice gentle spice to it. The salsa that came with the fries was good*. They also have gluten free pies-next time. The vegan menu was not particularly exciting (pasta salad, salad, vegieburger), but it's nice to find accommodations for vegan and gf diet. After all it is still central Oregon--even with the influx of Californians. The staff was polite and helpful. The atmosphere was quite charming-In the downstairs of an old house. It looked like original floors etc. If the weather had permitted it also would have been nice to eat outside in the "backyard".
Read more*special note: this website does not allow a five star rating for "veg-friendly" restaurants. I wouldn't have given 5 stars anyway-because really it wasn't wonderful. But as it is "veg-friendly" vegan isn't their specialty.

A Full Vegan Menu - Edit
Such great options if you want something besides just a salad and fries when dining out with non veg friends and family. My mom loves her party melt, and my vegan noodle salad was fab.
