Best Vegan Laksa - Edit
Mirroring the opinions of other reviewers and recommending the vegan laksa! Probably the best one I've tried. They have really yummy drinks here too.

Busy place but great laksa - Edit
This place is open for dinner and it is recommended that you make a booking as this place gets very busy. There is a nice vibe inside. The vegan laksa is delicious. It is thick and creamy and bursting with flavour. The vegetarian spring rolls were average but okay. The vegan options are very clearly labelled on the menu and there are a decent number of vegan options, maybe five or six in total. The restaurant is right on Darwin Waterfront, which at night is very beautiful, lively, and romantic, so walking along the waterfront at night after a good meal at Chow was a great experience.

Great atmosphere & food - Edit
heaps of options which include vegan rice paper rolls, spring rolls, laksa, sweet and sour soup, stir fried vegetables and kang koong. We tried the rice paper rolls, laksa and stir fried veggies and loved them all.
Read moreAlso tried one of their cocktails of the day (yuzu margerita), which was a highlight.
While it is in the waterfront precinct, do not expect waterfront views.
Pros: Great food, Cocktails of the day, Unlimited sparkling water for $3.50

Get the laksa! - Edit
I’ve been coming to Darwin once a year for 4 years now and I always go to Chow and get the laksa. This time I branched out and got the fried rice and the spring rolls as well, but the laksa is so good. If you’re going to deck chair cinema, then this is a great spot to get dinner beforehand

Great Pad Thai - Edit
The pad Thai was delicious. The only downside was we had to take chopsticks from another table as our table only had two spoons. Not really a major flaw since the food was delicious!

Tasty vegan dishes - Edit
Great busy restaurant on the waterfront. Great service and very helpful with vegan options. Happy to convert from vegetarian to vegan with no issues. Had vegan spring rolls, which were so fresh and delicious followed by my pad Thai. The serving size was huge, tofu cooked perfect with lots of fresh vegetables.

Good recommendation for some vegan options in Darwin. I had the laksa and it wasn’t amazing, but was still yummy and hit the spot.

Worst ‘laksa’ I’ve ever had - Edit
If the sloppy congee of broken rice noodles wasn’t bad enough, the flavour of the soup was nonexistent. A packet of two-minute noodles with bok choy and tofu would have been infinitely more fulfilling (not to mention $16.50 cheaper than this godawful slop).

Nice location - Edit
Restaurant in the waterfront precinct. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Vegan options and will offer a vegan buffet for 4 people (not advertised on the menu). Good is a bit hit and miss - sometimes delicious and sometimes mediocre.
