Good option for vegans and picky eaters - Edit
I had the tofu nanban burrito and it was very good. I’m traveling with a kid who’s a picky eater and she was able to order a customized salad. Was surprised it was chopped. Guess she didn’t get clued in by the name. Convenient to our hotel as well.

Great burrito and juice - Edit
Lovely vegan earth bowl burrito, lots of raw veggies and walnuts plus a fresh orange and carrot juice however, watch out for the soup! Perhaps a rookie error I ordered the veggie soup but it had chicken pieces in it!

Great food! - Edit
We loved the salad and the burrito. Very light yet filling. A nice option to grab a quick bite before going to wander around.

Best salads! - Edit
They had 3 vegan salads on the menu and another one with mushroom as a new special. We ordered the mushroom and the tofu one and they were both so good! It can sometimes be hard to find healthy food in Japan, so having a yummy salad on a hot day was just perfect!

Huge vegan burritos - Edit
Chopped Salad Day is a mini chain around Tokyo and perhaps some other cities. It is located inside the Shinjuku Sumitomo Buildinf B1F. The menu has three vegan menu items that can be ordered either as salads or burritos. You can also build your own burrito/salad. I choose to go the burrito route as that seemed more filling.
Read moreI tried the Korean vegan chicken burrito (made with TVP meat) and it was big and a little spicy. They have another one with tofu too and a plain veggie one. The burrito wrap was delicious and so was the filling. I def felt very satiated after it. All their home made juices are vegan too, but a bit pricey. Menu is easy to understand and ordering went smoothly.
The only downside to this place is that I don't think you can choose tofu/TVP on your build-your-own, which is a shame, but overall would come back to try the tofu burrito.
Afuri is located next store, so you can have some vegan ramen after your salad...
Pros: Great and big burrito, Nice location.
Cons: A bit pricey
