Serves meat, vegan options available. Chopped salads, wraps, and burrito bowls. All salads can be made vegan as can the chopurrito (salad burrito bowl). Offers build your own and menu listed chopped salads with a wide variety of greens, grains, veggies, and fruits from which to choose. Warm bowls made on a base of vegan cilantro lime rice are also available. Multiple locations. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-10:00pm.

Chop Stop Has Cool Vegan Salads for Hot Days

Since it's a hot day outside, we decided to visit the restaurant for salads. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by an employee. She asked if this was our first time visiting the restaurant and we replied yes. She responded by explaining the various menu options available such as making your own Chop, ordering a menu Chop or ordering a chopurrito which is similar to a Chipotle burrito bowl.

I was pleasantly surprised that they not only offer tofu as a protein option but also they have vegan chorizo available and have vegan toppings and salad dressing clearly marked on their menu with a "V." Having said this, it's easy to veganaize any of the menu options. After taking time to look at the menu, I ordered the Asian Chop salad and substituted the double roasted chicken for tofu while hubby ordered the Santa Fe Chop and substituted the double roasted chicken for the vegan chorizo. I was surprised that the restaurant gives the option of lite, regular, or extra salad dressing with your salad which is great.

Our salads arrived quickly and came with cutlery which was greatly appreciated. Our salads were flavorful, the salad dressing in the salads were evenly tossed and the salads were the perfect meal for a triple digit weather day. We'll definitely be back soon to enjoy more of their wonderful menu options.
