Waffles were not vegan, lovely staff - Edit
Edit: we went back to redeem our vouchers and they were telling everyone that the waffles weren't vegan, so you can feel safe ordering from the rest of the vegan menu 😊
Read moreWent here for breakfast and ordered the vegan waffles off the vegan menu (labelled as vegan without the cream). It came out with cream, so I asked if it was vegan. After a while, they came back and said despite the waffles being labelled as having a vegan option, they were actually not able to be made vegan at all and they should not be on the vegan menu. They replaced my meal with the more expensive vegan quesadillas which were nice.
In all the confusion, they forgot to make my partner's meal, so that was a long wait. To apologise for all the mishaps, they gave us a $25 gift voucher which wasn't necessary but definitely appreciated! Overall, the staff were so nice and we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a problem, just double check when ordering the vegan options and don't order the waffles :)

Decent option in port Macquarie - Edit
I had the shabsuka. This was a small portion of Smokey bbq beans that were very tasty. Served with delicious roti and a few slice of toast. Would've liked a bit more for my money but it tasted nice.

Worth a visit - Edit
Def not a 5 star experience but the staff were super helpful and even went to ask a vegan waitress about her suggestions. There’s a seperate vegan/vego menu on the back with at least 8-10 options. Meals were massive (pub style size) and prices matched the size.

Great vegan menu - Edit
I had a great experience at this venue. They have an entirely vegan seperate menu, this could be advertised more as I did not see it until I researched using this app. However this menu had a great variety of different items. I had the burrito with vegan cheese and vegan mayo which was delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great Mexican inspired options available. We tried the tacos, burrito and mushroom burger - all had the option for vegan cheese and mayo.

We came to have dinner as it was on the HappyCow app, we couldn’t see much on the menu that was vegan. Great coffee though, with almond milk.

We went there for dinner and the vegetarian/vegan options were tiny and boring. Finally we had some fries and quesadillas, which both were made out of ready-made ingredients and not delicious at all, therefore also too pricey

Large range of vegetarian options and a small range of vegan options, they are very accommodating and will substitute and do the best to give you what you are after. The staff are super wonderful!
