Delicious food! - Edit
The falafel burger is very good and the carrot cake is the best I have had in my whole life. Expensive (410k for two burgers, two coffee drinks and two carrot cakes) but worth the money. Great atmosphere. Sad we only got to visit once.

Expensive but good food and great atmosphere - Edit
The beer garden is right next to the main road, but you dom't hear the traffic. The beer garden is cosy. There are a few vegan options including salads, chips, summer rolls and great pizza (1 vegan option).

Would have given 5 stars if HappyCow would let me! - Edit
The vegan tofu scramble was amazing, the falafel burger was super good too and the carrot cake and coconut coffee were the best as well. Went back three times in the three days we were in Ninh Binh haha

Cool place - Edit
Nice pit stop for those riding around town, relaxed atmosphere and good vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Had the papaya salad and rice paper rolls, keen to go back for the vegan coconut coffee. Service a little lacking.

Great Place to Hang Out - Edit
Chookie's is a nice bar/restaurant off the main road in Tam Coc. It is mainly frequented by tourists. They have a few vegan options, including fries, pizza, salads, and smoothies. The atmosphere is really nice - they have lots of comfy seating and nice lights. They have a happy hour deal on drinks as well. The vegan pizza is interesting and very filling but is a bit like a salad on bread. We ate here twice in our two days in Tam Coc, as it is a great vegan option there that also serves drinks.

Loads of vegan food - Edit
We spent 4 hours here, drinking beer, eating vegan food and planning our trip for the next day. We haven’t been rushed, we might actually move in.

Good selection of food to choose from including a vegan pizza (I didn’t try). Food is Western apart from summer rolls.

Best vegan options in Nihn Binh - Edit
Incredible place, me and my bf went for breakfast and had scramble tofu, smoothies and it was just so good that we decided to go back there for dinner! We got the falafel burger and the vegan pizza, both of them were good but the vegan tofu pizza was so sensational, so good especially with the sirricha sauce they had, I highly recommend it.

Lunch - Edit
The atmosphere was super cute and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the tofu scramble and the green smoothie, both were mediocre. Not much flavor other than the tomatoes in the sauce and the smoothie was warm. Despite that experience, the menu looked bomb so I will be giving it another shot tomorrow for breakfast!

Vegan pizza! - Edit
Such a cool / fun place. The staff are great and it has a really nice vibe. And great views! Was happily surprised at the amount of veg / vegan options on the menu - including tofu scramble, papaya salad, a whole choice of vegan smoothies and best of all - of vegan pizza!

5/5, will only let me give 4 though - Edit
This place is great. Very chill atmosphere, amazing food with a decent amount of Vegan and more Vegetarian options. When we asked if the Iced Coffee was Vegan they even specially made it for us without condensed milk and used something else.

Falafel salad ftw - Edit
Excellent place if you're on a plantbased diet, they have few but very good options which include a tofu scramble for breakfast until 4pm, vegan milkshakes, fruit juices and burgers.
Read moreI had the falafel salad with roasted pumpkin, avocado, cucumber, salad, falafel, tomato and dressing. It was absolutely delicious and just what I needed!
Staff is incredibly sweet and attentive, speak good enough English, they have English menus and you can't beat the relaxed atmosphere. Prices are expensive though, my falafel salad was 110,000 dong.
I stayed around the corner for two nights and was a repeat customer.
One of the reviews for the other Chookie's have definitely been here and not at the one in Ninh Bình.
Pros: English menu and English-speaking staff
Cons: Expensive
