Tasty vegan sammies - Edit
This was a great find in downtown Rochester Hills! It's on a strip of shops and restaurants, a good place to walk around on a nice day. They have a full separate vegan menu, and I was very impressed by the vegan options I selected: the vegan Philly (cheese steak) and sweet potato fries. The Philly used seitan that was marinated so well. A lot of the other dishes use fake meat (impossible), but my omni friends loved it and thought it was seasoned very well and tasted just like meat. I highly recommend!

Good, mostly fake-meat-based vegan menu - Edit
Tasty tasty proteins and fats with seitan, beyond, and impossible sandwiches on the menu. The Philly steak was pretty great.

Pretty decent vegan options - Edit
When you’re hungry in this area there isn’t much for vegan options. Chomp does well to have a vegan menu with rotating weekly specials that feature a couple vegan items as well. Pretty big portions, seitan Rueben sandwich 15$ was very filling. A little bland though it was lacking some flavor (seitan needed smoke flavor or something) and I would’ve liked more saurkraut on it. The s.p.q.b was delicious and super flavorful. that’s a regular menu item and I’d order it again. The bread is really good, fresh possibly locally baked . I think they source things locally when available. I’d like to come back to try the Philly sometime.
Read moreEating inside is ok. There’s no music playing which would be nice. Because you can hear the kitchen very loudly, every word being said because there is no other sounds. Seems like a mom and pop type of place family owned and I appreciate that they provide vegan options. a good place to go if you have omni friends or family too looking for cafe type of place or if you happen to be near by. 3 and a half stars. Not quite 4 stars. If they had more vegan sides like potato salad or mac n cheese now that would get the 4 star rating😉

Okay but could be better - Edit
We’ve ordered from here occasionally. The food is decent as far as vegan fast food goes. Plus vegan options are few in the area. I prefer to order and carry out. I’ve found ordering at the counter and trying to eat there is sorely lacking. It’s small, cramped and loud inside and the outside dining doesn’t look very clean. Service is also slow and the staff is not very friendly either.

So Good Every Time - Edit
They offer a separate vegan menu daily, and everything I've ever eaten here has been amazing. Their shoestring fries are to die for, and they serve Impossible meat. Their juices are freshly made and they have a large variety of flavors. I eat here as often as I can.

Great, fresh food - Edit
I’ve only had 1 item here many times. It always comes out fresh and good. The portion sizes are really big though (too much) which reflects in the cost also. Thanks for the vegan menu!!

Delicious and lots of options - Edit
We got the quesadilla and cauliflower wrap. IMO the cauliflower could have been spicer but honestly that’s my only note. The food was divine. Go. Now. I’ll be back soon.

sadly disappointed - Edit
was very disappointed to see the chef not wearing a mask or gloves while cooking. the staff is underpaid and has their tips taken by the owner. also was very specific about food allergies and they completely ignored it. fairly certain some of their vegan items contain non vegan material since we asked one time which vegan ranch they used and the owner responded the powdered kroger brand ranch, which is not vegan.

Awesome food and service - Edit
An entire vegan menu which is diverse and completely delicious! Perfect options for everyone, including the kids. The quesadilla was my favorite, while my husband loved the “chicken” sandwich most. We also enjoyed the other entrees very much!

Excellent vegan options, cute restaurant and great patio - Edit
Everything that I have had was delicious. They have a vegan menu that they proudly advertise, vegan daily specials, understand veganism, friendly staff and the outside patio is cute and shaded, next to Chillyn Cafe which has vegan nitro ice cream options. I highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower wrap, SPQB burger, Philly, Buddah Bowl with brussel sprouts instead of chicken, and almost any vegan daily special.

Full separate vegan menu - Edit
We got the maple tempeh sandwich-delicious and the sweet potato quinoa sandwich-delicious. The cashier knew the menu like the back of her hand and made excellent suggestions. Our non-vegan guest had chicken wrap which looked very good. The place is spotless and the crew that worked there was happy and fast. I would have given 5 stars but HappyCow only lets you go up to 4 stars since it isn’t strictly vegan. Worth every penny-a very very good meal.

Vegan Menu - Edit
They have a separate vegan menu with really good options. The Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap tasted amazing. The coleslaw inside the wrap was made with kale, purple cabbage, carrot, and cucumber instead of the usual boring coleslaw blend. This place is definitely going on my favorites list!

New vegan menu 12/2018 - Edit
This is a burger and sandwich restaurant in downtown Rochester. We were unable to get a table for dinner just after Christmas...downtown Rochester was packed. There is metered parking behind the building in a lot and there are a few Chomp designated spaces. Looking forward to trying it.
