This place has a vegan ice cream bar, one vegan sorbet, and three types of chocolate to dip the sorbet. It’s not a ton of options but it was delicious!

Omg, I cannot tell you how long I’ve waited to have a vegan soft serve ice cream. It seems like no one does it, but then we stubbled upon Chocolat Favoris. And when I say we stumbled… I actually searched the ends of the earth for this. 😈
Read moreAt this location there was a strawberry or raspberry vegan soft serve, but nothing beats a vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate. Still looking for a half and half (chocolate & vanilla) vegan soft serve. My husband got his dipped in chocolate and I had a feeling this would be too rich for me so I just got a plain vegan vanilla and it was perfect. We both got the medium size which was a very generous portion. I tried the chocolate dip and it was thicker than I expected and super rich, almost too much chocolate. Not like the thin shell we used to get as kids, but still good.
Will definitely go back as I’ve just found out this is a chain and there’s one in Ottawa.
Pros: Huge portions , Knowledgeable/friendly staff , Delicious vegan vanilla soft serve
Cons: More options would be great

Très bonne, je l’ai essayé avec la vanille aussi, ils offrent les deux saveurs mélangées et j’étais agréablement surpris. J’avais déjà mangé de la molle à la vanille ailleurs qui ne goûtait que le lait de soya congelé. Ici je trouve qu’ils ont bien développé leur recette et l’ont adaptée pour la rendre onctueuse.

What a cool place! There are 2 soft serve flavors as well as 2 dipping options that seem to possibly alternate new flavors. The strawberry is a sorbet and pairs really well with the hazelnut dip. Also tried the vanilla dipped in the chocolate - the vanilla is so rich and creamy it’s amazing but it is too rich when you dip it in the chocolate. The dip itself is yummy but it’s very thick so it does get a little sickening after a while. The petite size is plenty big!

Vegan soft-serve ice cream available in vanilla, strawberry sorbet and (seasonal) blueberry sorbet. Two vegan dip options, dark chocolate with or without nuts. The Petit size was plenty big enough for me. (There’s an even smaller size, called Mini.) Next time, I won't have it dipped. The blueberry soft-serve is delicious.

This was my second experience at Chocolat Favoris and I really enjoyed it! They have 3 different vegan chocolate dips (one with hazelnut that’s reminiscent of Nutella), and 2 vegan ice creams - vanilla or raspberry sorbet. I tried the vanilla this time and was slightly disappointed as I found it a little watery and not as creamy as I’d hoped, but it was still yummy and nice to have the option available. My favourite would have to be the raspberry sorbet - it’s excellent dipped in the Tanzanie dark chocolate!
