Nice setting & decent food - Edit
There’s a page of vegetarian food on their menu which at least some of which can be veganised. We got the pineapple fried rice which came in a pineapple with battered mushrooms on top. We also got a tofu steak with spicy sauce, which was silken tofu in a light crust/batter with a broth that you can pour over. The food was good, the staff understood our requests. It was pricey but you’re paying for the setting as much as anything.

Decepción - Edit
Si bien el lugar era muy bonito, limpio y la atención excelente no encontramos nada vegano para comer, solo había como 1 opción y era un desayuno que podían adaptar para que fuera vegan

Hi, we are now open again for in house dining. Not sure what happened during your visit we have a separate vegetarian and vegan menu with 10-12 dishes rotating. We are sorry you were not given the correct information.

Pricey food, stunning setting - Edit
After visiting the blue temple it made sense to come here. It is a truly beautiful setting and it’s incredibly relaxing just sitting there. The mango sago smoothie was absolutely amazing.
Read moreI decided to have the duck eggs benedict (250TB) for my meal. Possibly the first time I’ve ever had eggs benedict, however as some of the other dishes didn’t have rave reviews I decided to give it a go. It was nice enough, very rich and probably how it’s meant to be I’d imagine. It didn’t go so well with the lettuce as part of it so I moved to the side, but otherwise all good.
Although expensive, and appearing to be predominantly frequented by locals who want a fancy meal out, it’s well worth a visit even if just to try one of their splendid smoothies and enjoy sitting by the beautiful (brown) river and trees.
Pros: Beautiful outdoor setting
Cons: Expensive

Nice cafe on the riverside - Edit
Lovely little spot on riverside near the Blue Temple (5 min walk). Plum soda is so interesting - sweet, sour, and salty all at the same time. Pineapple fried rice was nice and so was tofu steak. You pay for the setting, which is lovely.

Expensive food by the riverside - Edit
Beautiful outdoor seating in an idyllic garden at the riverside and close to the blue temple. The food is expensive (200 THB for most vegetarian main dishes) and rather boring. We had the wild mushroom soup (vegetarian) and the tofu steak (vegan) and were not convinced. The staff is nice and speaks English very well, the menu is english as well.

Pineapple Fried Rice - Edit
This restaurant is beautiful, tucked away near the riverside in Chiang Rai. Decor and ambiance is very special. It reminds me of Savannah, Georgia. Menu only has vegetarian options. However, they were able to make pineapple fried rice vegan. More vegan options would be great!

Lovely - Edit
I always pop in for a cocktail, tea or plum soda and an app after visiting The Blue Temple (right around the corner) when I am in town. The view and grounds are stunning, laid back and everything is well presented.

lovely Chivit Thamma Da - Edit
The setting with it‘s colonial style is just beautiful. They make your dish vegan if possible. Also a few vegetarian options already in the menu.
Read morePros: Soy and other milk alternatives available , lots of different meals(also healthy choices)
