The breakfast was ok. Actually it is nice to go there when you are around. Not a destination though.

Food was good, but not many options - Edit
I was somewhat dissapointed to see the options for vegans (about 3 or 4 in total) but the courses were good and original (not just curry or a burger😉so I enjoyed that. But the menu could definitely use some more vegan options! Especially for desserts or pie/cake.

Great staff wonderful food. Very clear menu. Clearly marked Vegetarian and Vegan options. Also the menu was in English with humorous names for the meals! Cool location with outdoor seating. Would recommend.

Super good food - Edit
The entire menu was vegetarian and vegan on the night I went. The vegan dishes I had were fantastic. I had Green Gazpacho and a roasted eggplant dish with fig sauce. My mouth waters thinking about it. The service was really good, and very friendly.

Awesome food, service and location! - Edit
You need to eat here!
Read moreIt is a good place to have a peace of quiet when having been in the city all day.
They change menu a lot, and try to make it vegan as much as possible. When we went there, it wasn't fully vegan, but they were very helpful in finding a solution for it! Would highly recommend

A great find - Edit
We went inside to ask for the dinner menu we found the whole menu was vegetarian. There were even vegan wines and beers. My meal was incredible and filling. Which was perfect as I was super hungry at the time. But I actually can’t remember what it was called! It was affordable for two uni students but with high quality food and interiors. It would be perfect if you wanted to take some friends out for a more special dinner.

Breakfast - Edit
Very good taste of the chia pudding and you get a lot of it. Vegan/vegetarian is optional for basically every course. Strongly recommend #goldlife

Chipps - Edit
Walked in and the restaurant was full of happy people and had an amazing vibe. Food felt over priced for what I received and wasn't that tasty either, although it looked great. The salad was probably the best thing about it.

disappointed... - Edit
I suppose my expectations were high... I had their curry dish with soup for lunch. The soup was vegan and good.the curry, though, well, the rice was cooked too soft. It was curry over porridge. The curry itself was just all right. Pretty presentation, though. And, I had a table very close to the kitchen area. I do like watching people cook, but I was disgusted when I saw one of the chefs touching food with the bare hands. I wondered, why not use the cooking utensils?!? Also, munching and touching the face while cooking... I didn't want to see any of those...

time change - Edit
We attempted to eat at CHIPPS on a weekday evening, but were told by a rather abrupt waitress that the restaurant would not be serving food for at least half an hour. Considering that it was 6pm we thought that this was rather odd for a restaurant. Unsure whether this was a one-off or if the opening times on Happy Cow are out of date. Either way, we were not inspired to stay despite being absolutely starving.

Not recommendable. took 1h+ to get food. Wouldn't have the menu on table if we wouldn't have asked. And the restaurant is only 20% occupied...

The new fancy - Edit
Restaurant in the expensive part of Berlin, which, although still being kind of fancy to fit in with the area, it also has this modern style making the restaurant a comfortable place to eat at.
Read moreWe got the weekly menu for lunch: a very good mushroom soup and a risotto, which was also very tasty, although rather small.
The menu was around 9,5€, which is not bad taking into account the area.
Pros: Good quality ingredients, Ambience, The food itself is good
Cons: Expensive if you don't get the menu, Portions could be bigger

ok for lunch - Edit
I got a nice salad and vegan soup for lunch. Nice place but I could see the kitchen. It was not dirty but I mess which disturbed me to see.
Read moreI am not sure I would come since it is unclear if they have vegan option for diner. And I will NOT come to a restaurant which serves meat! There are too many other real vegetarian restaurants in Berlin to choose between.
Pros: quick, ok for vegan lunch

Best place for breakfast - Edit
Nice and cozy place with one big minus – due to the fact that the kitchen in the cafe is open, the chef literally cooked and served meat right in front of your nose. If you are a strict vegan, I think this option is not for you. Everything else is pretty nice - friendly staff, coffee and soy milk, all-day-breakfast with veg options on weekend.

Cons: prices slightly increased, meat serves and cooked in the open kitch
