Nice ambiance but not many vegan options

I really liked Chinoz On The Park for its location, directly at the entrance to the KLCC mall. You have a view of the park and the fountains and it’s excellent for people watching and soaking up the atmosphere.
The restaurant looks elegant and the waiters were friendly.
When it comes to vegan food, it is not the best place, though. Vegetarian options are marked on the menu, but vegan ones are not. There are a few dishes that might be vegan (spaghetti aglio olio, dhal,…), but you would probably have to ask about the ingredients. There‘s also the superfood salad, which I chose, and was told that it was vegan, but it was not good. There were a lot of salad leaves, but only very little of the "superfood". The worst was the quinoa, because there were only some tiny quinoa grains sprinkled over the salad like seasoning. I had hoped for the quinoa to fill me up, so this was disappointing. Moreover, I did not like the dressing at all, but of course that is my personal taste.
The lemonade and iced coffee we had were very good, so maybe come here for the drinks and the ambiance, but rather not for vegan food.

The superfood salad is mainly just greens with a smattering of edamame, avo and cauliflower. They do have a soup and hummus with crudités on the menu however didn’t sample that. One smoothie that’s made with soy milk which is nice enough.

Limited choice

The plant based burger and superfood salad are good - but they’ve stopped offering the plant based pizza, which used to be really good with vegan cheese.
