While their buffet is good, the restaurant is quite small and tightly packed with tables. If possible avoid the peak times or come when the weather is nice and you can sit outside.

Chimy's offered a range of vegan options from a buffet. Everything we tried tasted good, although it was a bit too spicy for us. The prices were surprisingly low, which is nice

Read moreWhen I visited it seems like all options were vegan except one which had cheese in it, I asked many times and left the place still without understanding if it was vegan or vegetarian since two member said it was made with fake cheese but still called the dish vegetarian. I was not the only one confused and they struggle a bit with English! I would still recommend this but make sure you check what’s v and what’s vg.

Wir waren gestern Abend im Chimy‘s. Wir wurden herzlich begrüsst. Ich hatte online leider überlesen, dass es keine à la carte Auswahl gibt - also Buffet! Das Essen war lecker und was ausging wurde fortlaufend ersetzt. Einziger Kritikpunkt: kein offenes und kein lokales Bier - zumindest gestern nicht. Dafür kostenlos Hahnenwasser.

We got greeted friendly and found a nice place in the busy restaurant. There were many choices at the buffed. The food tested well, but not great. Also, some dishes, especially the dumplings, got empty and not replaced.

If you can only eat one place in Zurich, go here. The buffet was incredible. Super friendly service, clean and cute place, incredibly delicious food. There was only one non-vegan option when I went - a cheese momo.

This is one of our all-time favourite restaurants in Switzerland. The evening all-you-cat eat buffet is spectacular, with a great selection of momos, salads, curries and more. Usually everything is vegan apart from one or two items. Warm and friendly service too, for adults and kids! The new addition of weekday lunch vegan bowls is also great - I love both the rice and noodle bowls.

I love how in this buffet you pay one price and you can eat whatever you'd like and try many things to check what you prefer and take more of that afterwards. Things that you can't do in a "pay by weight" buffet.

We had the buffet which was mostly vegan besides one vegetarian dish. Very delicious and you have to take small portions if you really want to try every dish without bursting. Staff also was busy refilling everything and very friendly. Definitely would come again

I had the pleasure to eat at Chimy's in the evening: the all you can eat buffet was simply delicious, lots of variety, everything cooked fresh, all the dishes except two were vegan, and the service was very friendly. I loved it, and I most certainly am going back soon!

What a fantastic find! We drove all the way to Zurich to try their food and were astound by the quality and taste of the food - especially for the price!
Read moreWe got to the restaurant before they opened and asked if we could sit inside while we wait for the dinner service to start (it was freezing outside) and they sat us down right away, took our drink orders and even let us start having the dinner buffet before the opening time of 6pm.
In addition to the mouthwatering vegan buffet, the thoughtful staff and the amazing price (especially for Zurich!) I was also impressed by how clean the restaurant was and how much effort they put it to help protect themselves and their clients from Covid.
The tables were properly deprecated to keep us safe, everyone had to wear a mask while standing and at the buffet, but more importantly they asked their guests to wear protective gloves they provided when grabbing food at the buffet and they made sure to remind everyone to wear a mask when getting food (most places just assume guests will and don't enforce it).
We felt safe, welcomed and full with delicious food!
This place is a MUST-TRY!

Best place for a vegan asian buffet in Zürich - Edit
If you love vegan asian food, visit this place. You can eat "all you can eat" from the buffet for around CHF 30 (which is a great deal for Zürich). I am usually there for lunch. You can fill a box from the buffet for Take Away for a lunch price. Best place to go for vegan asian food.
