Cheerful wee Tearoom

Chimes hasn't changed much in many years, and that's what makes it so charming. With unfussy decor, friendly staff and a simple menu, I've always been made to feel very welcome and comfortable here. They usually have a vegan option from their cake cabinet, and there's vegan milk available for drinks. I recently had the falafel and cous cous, which was such good value for money (less than £7). They also have a vegetable tart and a bean chilli which I think can both be veganised, and they often make a vegan lasagne too!

Pros: Cheap, Friendly staff , Comfortable atmosphere

Ended up in hospital

Asked for vegan chilli was given meat chilli with Vegan cheese. Ended up in hospital with anaphylactic shock.

Lasagna!

Lovely place, great staff, excellent vegan lasagna, and a few other options. They also welcome dogs! And a selection of vegan cakes usually. Old school
