Best Chocolate Experience

I’ve now done two experiences at Chima: the chocolate tasting and the chocolate making. I highly recommend both, but the chocolate making class includes a tasting! You get to pick your additions (cinnamon, cardamom, chile), as well as your sugar ratio. The entire process from learning about cacao to roasting, peeling, and grinding is so satisfying. The folks at Chima are super passionate about what they do and sharing their culture with you. I was so honored to meet them. Definitely pick up some of their pre-made chocolate bars on the way out… best I’ve ever had! Side note: make sure to tell them no dairy or honey for the tasting, as they make you a beautiful toast to go with your cacao after you finish creating it but it will include those 2 ingredients if you don’t ask. Enjoy!
