I had a pot of tea and the vegan lamprais, which was very delicious! Staff is super nice and very attentive. Vegan options are clearly labeled.

While it’s clearly a tourist specialty place there are a couple of local dishes on the menu - one I hadn’t yet tried -Lumprais- and they did a vegan version with jackfruit! The portion sizes are absolutely massive so brace yourself.

Loved this beautifully designed hip and buzzing restaurant and bar, and so I was delighted to find a good range of vegan options. The lamprais came recommended and I can see why!

There are a few vegan options, we tried the vegan lumprais, comes served in a banana leaf. It was tasty but not the best curry we have had on our travels.
Read moreGood cocktails and when we were there they had a DJ/party which was fun. Very westernised/touristy and the staff were a little overrun so service for drinks was slow and not that friendly.

Staff are really unfriendly and coffee was really bad (tiny, coconut milk was lumpy and separated and staff just told me to stir it and walked off which didn’t help). They kept pressuring us to leave and took some drinks away half finished. I don’t usually write reviews but I really wouldn’t recommend this place.😒

We had dinner there twice in March 2023. We tried the vegan lumprai, veggie stir fry, jackfruit burger, penne arrabiata, pappadam and curry and lots of fresh juices. Every thing was amazing. The staff was super friendly and the place is awesome. Good vibes and great food.

I visited the restaurant in December 2021. I ordered the potato wedges which were good. I also ordered the manioc burger which was a huge disappointment. I regretted visiting this place, for the prices they have, the food is not up to it. There are other much better places in the same area that I highly recommend, you can skip this one. I would only eat here again only if it would be the only place available and there was no place to buy fruits. I gave it 2 stars because the potatoes were ok.

I only tried the smoothie bowl but it was really good. Fresh fruit on top and proteins like pepitas and chia. They had lots of vegan items on the menu so I wish I'd been able to try more items. No issues confirming the bowl would be vegan with the server.

I would not recommend the jackfruit burger, it was not good. Real mushy. There were some clearly marked veg/vegan options on the menu, so maybe some other options would be better. Prices are high for Sri Lankan standards.

They have many vegan choices, like for example Burgers, Sri Lankan Curry, Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads etc. I had Curry & Rice one day and a Falafel sandwich the other day. Both was very delicious! The cocktails are also very good and the staff was very nice. I really liked the atmosphere.

An always crowded place in the center of Ella. They have some vegan options clearly labelled on the menu. I had a jackfruit burger, that was okay but nothing special. The waiters were busy all the time and not really attentive. Slow service.
