Comfort food at its best! - Edit
Having grown up in the south, it hasn’t been easy changing old eating habits. Ever since becoming a vegan, I have missed certain comfort foods. While I now avoid most fried foods, there are exceptions to the rule, if I ever come across something truly spectacular.
Read moreThis is one of those jaw-dropping occasions when I tried Chicken and the Wolf for the first time. It’s the closest thing to an actual fried chicken sandwich from the lip-tingling spicy & juicy vegan chicken patty to the pickles, lettuce, and the excellent vegan lemon dill sauce.
I absolutely love spicy food, but a medium heat level still had me reaching for a glass of water at times. The spicy fries were well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. This was a truly enjoyable meal that took me back to my childhood.

King of the mock chicken sandwich - Edit
This restaurant shows a strong commitment to the local vegan community by not just offering some vegan sides or options, but by having offered a handmade vegan version of their flagship product (a spicy chicken sandwich) since their opening day. You can order the sandwich in either the “OG” or the “Nashville (no coleslaw*)” styles. They also offer a vegan lemon-sauce to replace their original lemon-dill. The Fries and Spicy Fries are also vegan. The sandwich itself is amazing, whether you realize that it is vegan or not. it is one of the most convincing mock chicken patties I have ever seen and at the same time, I consistently forget it’s even supposed to be a mock chicken sandwich while i’m eating it. Usually about halfway through my sandwich i wake from my state of ecstasy and see the thick, fibrous and chunky-asymmetrical shape of the patty and remember that this is in fact the best mock chicken in Tulsa, and not some kind of hypnotic handful of pure joy.

Terrific vegan chicken option in Tulsa - Edit
The vegan chicken sandwich here was great! It was hard to find good vegan options in Tulsa, but Chicken and the Wolf is wonderful. Don't be afraid to bump up the spice. It wasn't as hot as I feared.

The place was a bit too noisy and crowded, but the burger was really good!! I loved the fries too. I wish they had more vegan options though.

Tulsa vegan staple 🔥 - Edit
Love the vegan chicken sandwich and lemon dill sauce. When they say Tulsa’s hottest chicken, they mean it - be careful with the spice level!

Great chickum sandwich - Edit
I ordered the vegan sandwich. The reviews scared me off, so I got the mild. I wish I ordered the medium.
Read moreThe vegan chicken is good. It seems like the same that Project Pollo uses if you've had that.
The fries were ok but not the best.

Dang good vegan chicken sandwicih - Edit
I eat here at least once a month. The vegan fried chicken is 🤌
Read moreComes in sandwich, “fries”, and salad. My go to is the sandwich. The vegan dill sauce complements the protein really well. Both fries and pickles are good sides.
Beware the heat levels—go one lower than you think you’re comfortable ordering. For one, they warn you and for good reason. Don’t be a tough guy. Two—the heat is not consistent, at least in my experience.
Cons: Wish they had vegan slaw, Inconsistent spice levels on the higher end. , Online ordering system needs improvement

Birthday Lunch - Edit
Just passing through and wanted something special for my birthday. Yummm, really good fried “chicken” sandwich. We ordered ours medium and they were nice and spicy!! Everyone talks about the lemon sauce, but I could not really taste it. We had a side of pickles and fries. Pickles are really good!!

Best vegan fried chicken sandwich - Edit
The vegan fried chicken sandwich will blow your mind. The vegan dill sauce paired perfectly with the sandwich. I normally don't enjoy crinkle cut fries, but these were scrumptious. I think this is one of the best vegan meals you can find anywhere. It's definitely worth the extra calories.

Try their vegan fried chicken - Edit
They have a vegan fried chicken and a vegan sauce that you can pair with it and the fries are amazing! But they have a few different sides you can choose. I would’ve gave it 5 stars if I could’ve. It’s def not the healthiest but it was perfect after a workout or hike. I’ve been there twice and both times I was happy 😊

Nah... - Edit
I didnt enjoy my vegan chicken at all. The breading slid off. Gardein taste better than their sandwiches. I swear. Fries consisted of cayenne pepper over the top of crinkle cut frozen fries. Definitely wont return.

So so good!! - Edit
Their “chick’n” sandwich is sooooooo amazing!! If you come to tulsa you have to try it! I will say that if you’re not a fan of spicy ask for them to do mild or no spice at all because it’ll light your taste buds up!😄nice staff too!

I loved the vegan chicken sandwich and fries! The spice levels are intense though, I got mild and it was a little too spicy. The seasoning on the fries was pretty hot too. My husband got no spice and love it too!
