Good options - Edit
The options on site were good, just wish there were a few more savory ones. Place is quick despite being busy. Coffee was tasty, too.

Delicious variety from sweet to savory - Edit
Very cute and cozy place, option to veganise most crepes by using vegan batter and cashew cheese. My favorites are the savory ones like Legume and Le Jardin.

Awesome - Edit
We love Chez Elle because of the vegan options it does have. The cashew cheese is absolutely delicious. The cashier circled all the vegan options on the menu which was super useful and I kept it for future use because we come here fairly often (picture posted). It looks like they're expanding their vegan options. I've gotten the Legume, Patriota, and the Pomme Tarte. They are all vegan AND omni approved. The only drawback to this place is that it does have a lot of flies living inside, they sometimes like to keep the door open and that doesn't help with the flies. I find myself constantly swatting at them while I eat. Nevertheless we always come back!

Vegan crepes!! - Edit
They had two savory crepes and two sweet crepes that could be made vegan. We got three of the four options between us and they were all delicious. And any place that makes their own cashew cheese is amazing in my book! The place has a fair amount of seating and is super cute. Street parking though.

Yummy! - Edit
Lots of vegan/vegetarian options. My bf and I got two savory crepes and one sweet thinking theyd be small and we could share and eat them all. The crepes were huge and very filling! Very delicious. They have smoothies and hot drinks too. Can get pretty pricey.

Vegan breakfast in Kansas City! - Edit
We occasionally travel to/through KC. When we were in town last week my sweetheart surprised me with breakfast here. Chez Elle offers both sweet and savory GF vegan crepes so we got one of each and shared. We added potato to the savory one to make it even heartier. The savory one was my favorite. And the housemade cashew cheeze was really good! I'm stoked to find a gf vegan breakfast option in KC that isn't just sugar. Yay for savory!

vegan crepe heaven - Edit
Most menu items can be made vegan. There’s a large selection of sweet and savory vegan crepes. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The coconut Carmel sauce was delicious on my apple crisp crepe. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

A Little Slice of Paris in Historic Kansas City - Edit
This little creperie is a bustling place on Saturday mornings so be prepared to wait in line. You order at the window and then sit down and they bring your food out to you. They have vegan crepes that you can substitute for $1 in any combination existing. Most of the combinations are hard to veganize because they rely on the cheeses, meats, and creams for the flavors. I ordered a vegan crêpe with fresh strawberries , cherries, coconut caramel sauce, and powdered sugar. It was delicious and very sweet. They also had almond milk and soy milk for their coffee drinks. This restaurant is a great restaurant to bring omnivores to and is nearby to the vegan restaurant füd.

Parisian-style spot - Edit
With cute tiled floors and handwritten chalkboards, Chez Elle is a great option for vegans since they can make vegan crepe batter. There are lots of fruit topping options, and the server even said their caramel sauce was vegan but I ended up going for a banana, strawberry, and blueberry crepe instead. They also have a selection of non-dairy milks, so coffee and tea are a must. Definitely worth a try!

Vegan crepes! - Edit
Lovely vegan crepes. The staff is not so well informed, so make sure you're very specific with your order. We ordered the vegan cheese and fruit, after making sure the cheese is not salty and that it'll go together. It didn't. But they are very nice and replaced everything immediately. Also, ask for their vegan sauce, cause they're not all vegan.
Read morePros: Very nice to sit outside, great location, nice staff, good selection of drinks.
Cons: Staff is pretty confused about the vegan options and generally, I think (got decaf tea instead of regular, etc), a limited choice of vegan items.
But overall, the crepes are delicious and will go there again for sure.
Pros: Delicious crepes, location, outdoor sitting
Cons: limited vegan options, confused staff
