Rip off - Edit

A carnivore Pad Thai with egg, beef/chicken/pork is $14.90
A vegetarian Pad Thai without egg or meat is $14.90.
If you want tofu, it is $1.90 dearer than the meat and egg dish. All vegetarian dishes come without tofu, even though Pad Thai is traditionally made with tofu.
I pointed the price anomaly out to the server when ordering and she said that’s just the way the woman who owns the place set it up. I asked if she could simply give me the meat version and substitute the meat for tofu and she informed me that she would get into trouble doing that.
I then walked out without ordering. They just lost a few hundred dollars of business while I’m on an extended business trip. Too bad, looks like they could have done with the business going by the lack of patronage and fish and chip style dining area.
