Great deal and great food - Edit
Had multiple tofu dishes. Got the general tso's tofu and added broccoli. Lunch special comes with rice, soup and spring rolls. The sweet and spicy soup uses chicken broth, but you can sub a soup for an extra spring roll.

Good vegan options. The restaurant understands when you want vegan. Fried rice (no egg) was very delicious with lots of different veggies. The avocado roll has very good flavor. Good takeout for those lazy movie nights.

Never thought I’d eat Asian food again - Edit
This is one of the very few vegan-friendly Asian options in Shreveport. The sesame tofu and avocado peanut sushi rolls are amazing. My only complaint is that the soy sauce in the packet didn’t taste like anything oddly enough.

This is my go-to chinese and sushi restaurant. The normal tofu and vegetable in brown sauce isn't particularly good but lots of other great options including sweet potato sushi rolls, sesame tofu, and their vegetable tempura is the best I've had

Read moreWe took a planned spot for dinner here after driving 8 hours on our way home from Florida. We all enjoyed amazing vegan meals (with a quick omission of oyster sauce)!
We enjoyed edamame, peanut avacado rolls (try them) , sesame and general tzo's tofu, eggplant and green beans..
The people were very nice, as was the decor! But the food won!

Went Saturday for the first time and had General Tso’s Tofu and Vegetable Roll. Very good!! Allison was very helpful and informative when I was making my choices. I will go again! Will try other new vegan choices that fit in better with my Weight Watcher Lifestyle.

The General Tso's tofu was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. It's a huge portion, and the tofu is perfectly fried and served with an awesome tangy sauce. I wouldn't miss it if you're in Shreveport!!

My husband, myself and our 17 year old son are all vegan. While visiting Shreveport we looked up vegan restaurant options (there are very few in the area) and came across Cheng's Garden! Very clean place! We tried General Tso tofu, Sesame tofu, Hot chili sauce tofu and a couple, a couple of cucumber avocado rolls and a vegetable roll. Everything was really good. Best tofu we've ever eaten by far!!! Nice large portion too! We actually ate there twice. Very friendly staff and we will definitely eat there again when we come to town!

I would give this place 5 stars if I could. Beautiful restaurant. Very clean and well kept. Ordered the General Tso's tofu and seaweed salad. Large portions and very delicious. Very polite and helpful staff. If you are a Vegan or Vegetarian traveling through Shreveport Louisiana, stop here and eat. Very few options for us in this part of the world. This place is great!

Best place for vegan food in town! - Edit
I've dinned in twice now but have order take out through on the go delivery at least 40 times. I have eaten the general tso and sesame tofu, peanut avocado roll, avocado roll, vegetable roll, sweet potato tempera roll, fried corn nuggets, vegetable delight, and vegetable tempera. Everything was wonderful! They have never made a mistake on my order. The restaurant itself is beautiful and relaxing. Please ignore location/outside appearance. It's very clean, new, and pleasant. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Food is fresh and delicious! They know what vegan means and have an extensive vegetarian section on the menu - most of which is vegan. A variety of vegan sushi is offered and they will even make you custom rolls as long as they have the ingredients. There are not many places in Shreveport with a good vegan selection. This is one of the few. They are enthusiastic and helpful and will gladly check every ingredient when asked. They happily veganize dishes when asked in addition to the regular vegan offerings. Will make you steamed broccoli (or any other vegetable you like) with no oil and no salt if asked. Excellent tofu and good quality veggies. Much healthier (if you order right) than any other Asian restaurants in Shreveport.
